QUOTE(S) TO NOTE:

““He’s a very cerebral player and that never leaves you, regardless of how long you’ve been on or off the ice. He does take good care of himself. He’s in great shape. I remember when we signed him, I was talking to Torts (Panarin’s former coach John Tortorella in Columbus) about him, and Torts said, ‘He’s the best tired player I’ve ever coached.’ … He’s got a great feel for the game. He slows it down to his pace, but he also can play at a high pace. There are not many players like that in the league.

Just having him in our lineup gave us a jolt.”"

— David Quinn on John Tortorella on Artemi Panarin

Fuck Gritty!!!

Time to get KINKY again, baby!!!!

They seem to play so much better in front of him. He directs traffic out there so well. I was listening to him tell Brendan Smith where to go with the puck during the broadcast on Saturday..."Same side/Reverse!!", when Smith was chasing down the puck with his back to the play.

Smith came back, got the puck, faked like he was going around behind the net, and backhanded it along the boards right past a charging Bruin, and out it went for an odd man rush.

Kinkaid seems very calm and in control in net these days. He looks a lot different from his stint in Montreal.

I think I've seen enough of Georgie boy! Besides...I'm getting a sunburn from the red light constantly being on behind Georgiev...and I'm all out of Noxzema!!! ;)

Gritty is an abomination but that picture is hilarious.

Kinkaid was another very good depth signaling, and given Georgiev's lack of confidence right now, it looks even better. He's a more than serviceable goalie who won almost 30 games a couple of years ago for New Jersey. I'm hoping he's a guy who could benefit from having Allaire as coach just like Talbot and Raanta did before him. I think he was signed to a two-year deal, so he's someone you can keep around after they hopefully get rid of Georgiev at some point. With groins being tricky, especially for goaltenders, there's absolutely no reason to rush Shesterkin back and risk re-aggravating it.

Big test for Kincaid tonight back to back starts and with another solid effort could move him into the number 2 spot.

I hope the Rangers come out with the same intensity as they did on Saturday and played really well in front of Kincaid. It might have been their best 60 minute of hockey this year and glad to see we are going with the same lineup.

I'm feeling a big game tonight. I think we're going to see some guys start to light the lamp, big time!!!

Kakko is due

Laffy is due

...and I wanna see another good game out of Trouba! I think Trouba played his best game as a Ranger in Boston on Saturday. THAT'S the guy I wanna see!!! A nasty, tough, grinding fucker, who stays in position, and doesn't turn the puck over at the blue line trying to get the puck out of the zone!!

Guys, just FYI here - I love the energy, but all of that lineup stuff is subject to change. Practice is in about an hour, so we'll know more soon.

You're on the hook now, big fella!!!! ;)

Who’s dropping off Himalayan food!?!?!

I saw that Saturday!!!

Dude, I thought it was my Harley Bandana that did it!!

Ok, you eat that Himalayan stuff, because that fucking thing cuts off circulation to my head!!! ...and Lord knows, I have enough dead brain cells already!!!

IN assessing the odds of you all coming at me with pitchforks and torches, I've cleared the first hurdle.

Let's get kinky.

As an aside, if you intend to jab me with a sharp object, can you please make it a COVID vaccine and not a pitchfork? I promise, I'd prefer it. I promise sukuti on the other end if I can find it anywhere in a 300 mile radius.

Kincaid is actually the type of goalie I don't want anywhere near Allaire. Just let him do his shooter guessing game, and if he gets hot, he gets hot, and you're rolling a legit #1 for the couple weeks he's on a heater.

Allaire is all fine and good, but the robotic approach is a little old for me.

That is fair. I suppose he was doing fine without him as a goalie coach anyway. lol
