Myusername Posted October 14, 2018 Share Posted October 14, 2018 You can argue about the guys upside, but he has done nothing but disprove critics at every level so far. Players taken around where he was usually take a couple of years until they hit their stride and he's no exception. The "NHL ready" gibberish that was thrown around by the team has really undermined his development which has been just fine. You can make a good argument that our biggest weakness during our recent successful years has been lack of leadership and he seems to bring it in spades. Between him, Chytil, Howden, Kravtsov, Hajek, K'Andre Miller, and Shesty i'm pretty damn excited about the near future.
