Anyone interested in joining a small league? We're actually trying to get to 10 teams, so when I say small I mean small. Some people don't like the All Star roster thing, other people do. But it's pretty competitive. I had a tough time on the waiver wire because people knew their stuff.

What's the format? Is this a yahoo league?

So I just finished drafting, but now I'm contemplating dropping one of Kreider, Dougie Hamilton, or Ryan Ellis for Nathan Horton, Damien Brunner, Brayden Schenn, John Carlson, or Teddy Purcell.

Here's the team:

H2H Categories

Skaters: G, A, PPP, +/-, Hits, SOG, Faceoffs won, GWG

C: Nicklas Backstrom

C: Joe Pavelski

LW: Jamie Benn

LW: Rick Nash

RW: Jason Pominville

RW: Ryan Clowe

D: Erik Karlsson

D: Kris Letang

D: Mike Green

D: Andrei Markov

Util: Ryan Getzlaf

Util: Jeff Carter

BN: Chris Kreider, Jonathan Huberdeau, Dougie Hamilton, Ryan Ellis, Mikael Granlund

G:Pekka Rinne

G: Ryan Miller

BN: Anders Lindback

Like I said, looking to add one of Horton, Brunner, Schenn, Carlson, Purcell, or possibly Jason Garrison or Alex Galchenyuk. Not sure who to drop or who to add though. Advice appreciated!

So I'm trying to decide between Nathan Horton, Damien Brunner, and Brayden Schenn for the RW position. Schenn is listed as a center, but is currently on the right wing with Hartnell and Giroux. Great line to be on. Brunner is with Datsyuk and Zetterberg, so another great line to be on. Horton is, well, Horton. Anyone have an opinion on which out of the three is worth grabbing?

I picked up Brunner in both my leagues. I like the potential, and if i production isn't there I have no issue dropping him.

Horton is more of a season long guy, and pretty consistent year to year. Schenn could be a sleeper.

Alright, so first I'll give Brunner a shot then. I don't know why, but I think I'd rather drop Ellis than Hamilton to do it. Ellis has more experience, but Nashville's top 4 is locked up on D right now. Hamilton's a big question mark, but SHOULD get time on the Boston PP, and the +/- rating should come with it.

I think I'll drop Ellis for Brunner. Not sure who to drop for Schenn though. Dropping Dougie leaves me with no bench d-men, and I refuse to drop Kreider to pick up a Flyer lol. And it definitely doesn't make sense to drop Granlund or Huberdeau for Schenn.

Hamilton might not make the team and Ellis won't get much PP time after Weber and Josi.

Not a lot of star power. Trade a goalie for a stud.

What position would you recommend?

Anything you could get, really. You don't have a real stud at any position except for Karlsson and Lundqvist... Maybe Howard, too, depends what he doesn't without Lidstrom back there for 30:00 a game.

You can also try to sell high on Karlsson since I don't think there's any way he touches his point total from last year. But you have to get a bona fide star player back.
