  1. An older, "shittier" Zibanejad thats better at faceoffs and is a SC champion? I'll take that on the 3rd line.
  2. Lmao! They switched wifes' for a weekend or were both trying to bang behind the others back? Anyway, what an amazing story lol
  3. I want no part of him just because screaming his name while drunk gonna make me choke myself. How the fuck do you even pronounce that shit? Im getting dizzy just reading it
  4. Incredible how Tampa has a team with Vasilevsky (Top 3 goalie in the league), Hedman (Top 3 D), Kucherov (Top 3 winger) and Stamkos/Point and not have anyone on that list.
  5. Christian Pulisic becomes the first American to win the UCL, and he did it for the best club in the world. https://theathletic.com/news/christian-pulisic-champions-league-final-chelsea-man-city/HZ7lqB3lzuVa UP THE CHELS!
  6. Well, everyone knows that, so I dont see the reason in pointing it out EVERYTIME we talk about Lundkvist (or any other european player). You didnt hear people say "he's only played against kid, take it easy" when people were hyping McDavid pre-draft, or with any other NA talent for that matter. We know SHL and WC aint NHL very well, but we can still see how good a player is. Can we not just let the people who watch Lundkvist play discuss his game and the people who want to point out that SHL and other competitions is not the NHL can make a own thread about that?
  7. LOL Yeah, I said something like that earlier in this thread It certainly feels like there's a lack of real leader in this group, but they need someone. Going into the 3rd season in a row without a Captain is a problem.
  8. He was bossing that tournament as a 20 year old. With no Rangers hockey in 3+ months I dont really see the problem. It was either play a meaningfull (WC is not pointless for people outside of the US. Winning a WC is a big deal for a lot of players) tournament or sitting at home in Sweden (where the Covid situation is out of control). He showed he was levels above almost everyone at the tournament at 20 y/old, sucks with the injury, but hopefully its not a big deal and he will be ready for next year. I've said the last two years that I have Lundkvist ahead of Miller on the "D prospect depth chart", and I still do. In today's NHL where his size won't be a big problem, he's gonna be a stud. Im just scared its gonna be somewhere else (please dont trade him).
  9. Bumping this. Step 1 in this new "Drury era" should be to name a Captain. Its getting kinda ridiculous not having a Captain for so long and switching around the A's all the time. Feels like a U10 pee wee team. Passing around the letters so no one starts to cry. The lack of leadership was fairly obvious this season. Kreider and Zib both disappeared during the season and showed absolutely no leadership when things got rough (Kreids was injured, but still). Panarin is a midget that barely speaks english, he only has an A because he's the star, I guess thats fair. Obviously no Captain, but he can have an A. So only Trouba left from the "leadership group" from this season that showed anything resembling leadership. Not much, but more than the rest, and arguably his absence showed it more than when he actually played. Factor in he will likely continue to get less and less icetime and could very well be gone in a few years. I still stand by my orginally thought of Laf as Captain. Didnt start the season well, but as he progressed through the season I did see more of a "leader" in him. Seems to get a long well with everyone, he demands a lot from himself (and his teammates) and I really think he could develop a "mean streak" and be really good "lead by example" type of Captain. What other options are there? Obviously trade/FA, but would that fit well with this group? A new guy coming in and "taking over" this team? I could see Kreids and Mika cry over that. Lindgren? Fox? 3rd season in a row without a Captain?
  10. Quotes about the team right now and not named who said who? What's the point with that lol
  11. I still cant get over we got this guy for 6 months of Rick Nash. Slowly turning into my favourite player on the team, and I have a feeling he’s gonna end up a Rangers legend. The guy is just awesome allround and he’s still very young. Sent from my iPhone using Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk
  12. Its good to be a Chelsea fan again  What Tuchel has done with this team is beyond incredible. It shouldn't be possible to transform a team this much in so little time during a season. Went from looking like Arsenal and Spurs to now have control of the 3rd place and FA & CL finals coming. https://www.90min.com/posts/thomas-tuchel-incredible-statistic-chelsea-progress-opinion "Tuchel has now played against Zinedine Zidane and Real Madrid (twice), Pep Guardiola (twice), Jurgen Klopp, Jose Mourinho, Carlo Ancelotti and Diego Simeone (twice) and come away with eight wins from those nine matches."
  13. If this was the plan I dont understand why they didnt call up Geertsen. I guess they wanted the "response" to come from the guys that's been here for the season, but come on. 6 fights, they could atleast throw out one guy that knows how to do it (no disrespect to Smith, he was always going to lose against Wilson and Strome did a good job).
  14. They would've been killed if they started that. There's a reason Chara stayed away, because they did it respectfully. Once Buch started with the slashing you could see Chara was there to stop it. They did what they could and sent the right message. Got Wilson off the ice after one period and showed some fight. I wanted to see Barron fight tho. Oshie punched him and dropped his stick like he was gonna fight and then just skated away when Barron dropped the gloves. Pussy move against a rookie, but his father just passed, so he gets a pass I guess.
  15. 1 shot on goal this period lol. They obviously dont give a shit about this game, Wilson is out and the fights are done. Time to sleep.
  16. I think it was fine. Right to the dome, knocked him down and he looked hurt in the box. It was a good shot lol
  17. meh, why? 5 months to next season Injure a couple Capitals players and destroy their chances of a cup.
