This teams dismal back up goalie and inability to score on golden opportunities will keep it middle of the pack, at best. Not sure what the solution is. This is a game where the offense needs to put up 4-5 goals against an inferior opponent.

Wore my JAGR jersey for the first time in years during a weekend, getaway with “the boys” a few weeks ago. Was hot as fuck with just a t-shirt on under it. lol. Must be old age. Also felt bulky for drinking and gaming festivities. I think it has it place. Like outdoor events and obviously at games.

Other than a few goal scorer - round robin, parlays I'm struggling on NHL picks. I literally went 0-7 on (small) moneyline bets in the past week or so. The league is so hard to predict right now. A few times I went for 60-min. wins for a better payout and lost those due to overtime wins. Really seems to have better luck on NFL/NCAA football games.

No. He gets atleast til Thanksgiving next season with this team constructed as is, in my opinion. Team's shot percentage is the bottom third of the league, a bit more luck and they are probably at the top of the division. With that said their D is struggling at times, special teams has underperformed, so there is still room for improvement.

This team is a mix of bad luck (could have been up 5-1 or 5-2 going into the third, softness, malaise and last season-hangover. Again, not to draw eyes away from this team but many Ranger-tier teams (one notch under the elites) are struggling around .500. Blowing solid leads the last 2 games though is unacceptable. Not even sure it bothers them at this point, sadly.

I mean, other than the Bruins in the East its short of a clusterfuck at this point. A few surprise teams like the Sabres and Devils. Otherwise, looks like lots of teams trying to find their way. Rangers clearly aren’t elite. If Igor isn’t godlike it’s not too pleasant.

I’ve flipped my $75 free bet credit into +$220 on 4 bets over the past week. All win/loss bets, 3 on the Phillies to win their games (2 vs. Padres, game 1 vs Astros). Yesterday bet on Seattle +3 over the Giants. Got to say, betting on your own team to lose feels shitty, even when it’s the correct bet.

I mean, 2 wins from the Finals whether they deserved it or not. Colorado clearly would have been huge favorites. Would have hoped for Igor to steal a Cup for them. I think where they finished last season was about right. One tier down from elite. I’d expect similar this season. Doesn’t mean they can’t be upset in the first rd. come playoff time.

Baseball has always been at the bottom of my professional list. 1. NHL 2. NFL 3. NBA 4. MLB Up until I hit 20 or so you could flip 2. and 3. on that list. Otherwise, NHL has always been far and away #1 and MLB #4. How are Yankee fans feeling about game 3 today? Think the offense explodes and Cole shuts down the Stros at home?

Here’s what I don’t get, this was clearly a 3-5 hour rain event as it pushed through PA and NJ. Why didn’t they consider that as the rain moved into NYC. No models showed it dissipating magically this evening. It was 100% going to rain in the Bronx. Should have called the game right away. Even if it wasn’t raining around 5-6pm.

I’m saying it’s like watching a yankee game when they play Seattle. Desirable? No, but doable.

I’ll take 5+ goals a night, even if a bit sloppy.

Weak. Could have started between 10-10:30pm EDT like a west coast time zone game.
