  1. My girls are 12 and 10. We should be drinking buddies. Too bad I'm in PA.
  2. Congrats. My first daughter was born 2010, April 15th. My kids are now 12 and 10. First few months rough at times for sure, had another rough patch with child one around 10-12 month (teething/sleeping issues). Best years definitely ages 2-8 IMO. My kids are still great but as they approach double digits they definitely get less clingy/more independent which is obviously great at times, but I miss some of that "demand your full attention" period on occasion. Atleast I can watch hockey in peace these days.
  3. Lol, upon further inspection didn’t realize her guy (I’ll assume in the black hat) is holding a in his hand.
  4. I'm enjoying something else in that picture, and it isn't the Nachos.
  5. Can't afford to piss away easy(er) points with the standings as is. Oh well, I'll throw a few bucks on the Habs +250 Moneyline (No Push)
  6. Everyone around the league has laughed at the Mets organization for decades. If these moves blow up in their face, so be it. I'm glad the organization is going balls to the wall in hopes of a championship in the next few years. Sure, money doesn't buy championships, but it surely can't hurt to have it for spending while other teams in the division (like the Phillies) drop 300+ millions on guys like Harper and Turner.
  7. Good! NYC needs championships. All that matters is winning.
  8. Since it's the holiday and this event will be impactful I'll break down the next few days... Thursday: Rain moves into the area. Thursday night: Heavy rain and gusty southeast winds (20-40 mph) will batter the area with coastal flooding and erosion. Friday: Rain ends early then an intense arctic front moves through the area dropping temperatures from the 40s and 50s Friday morning into the 0's and 10's in 6-12 hours Friday afternoon and night. Winds accompanying the front could be intense, over 50 mph, especially near the coast. The cold front may produce a brief snow shower or snow squall, especially over interior area as it moves through. Saturday: Very cold, windy and dry with temperatures only in the 10s and 20s. Sunday: Cold and dry. Temperatures in the 20s.
  9. Happy for the win, but man I'm not sold on Jones. Problem is the Giants organization have given the guy NOTHING to work with other than Barkley. Sometimes it feels like they are putting him in a position to fail, on purpose. Or maybe, he's really just an average at best QB. Frustrating when I watch teams loaded on offense like the Eagles and Cowboys on a weekly basis.
  10. Looks like a massive rainstorm Thursday night into Friday anywhere along the East Coast (snow confined to the Great Lakes region). Then an arctic blast over the weekend, but mainly dry. Winds with the rain late Thursday night into Friday could be intense before the cold front passage. Like 40-60 mph. If you are not leaving Long Island til Saturday, the rain will have passed and cold, strong winds will be your main concern driving north. Bulk of rain will be on Friday. With a storm track into the Great Lakes, the fear of wintry weather looks to be minimal.
  11. 2 points with Halak starting is like a 5 point win for this team.
  12. Just took a look at the Metro division. Last 10 games for all teams.....only 2 out of 8 teams have won more than 5 games (Rangers 4-4-2) in that stretch. Rangers have issues for sure, but so many teams seem to be struggling in terms of consistency. Hopefully the Rangers can get it together soon because they still have time to right the ship.
  13. Thanks. Lol. Just landed in Orlando and see that. Oh well.
  14. Anyone know if FANDUEL is useable in in Florida? Doesn’t seem like it is based in what I read.
  15. Oh well. Sleep. Booze. Turkey. Football. The next 24 hours is set. Good night.
  16. I mean watching this team game in and out you’d think they’d be in worse shape standings wise. Feels like most teams are struggling to find their rhythm (other than a select few). They definitely aren’t much more than a fringe playoff team at this juncture. They need to start scoring more. Simple as that. An under 9% shooting percentage isn’t gonna cut it.
  17. Just one of those nights. Deserved a point but whatever. Atleast it wasn’t to an Eastern Conference opponent. This team has some serious issues, but man the league in general is hard to figure out, still. Teams like the Blues and Canes and Rangers losing to scrub teams today. Just never know on any given night.
  18. This teams dismal back up goalie and inability to score on golden opportunities will keep it middle of the pack, at best. Not sure what the solution is. This is a game where the offense needs to put up 4-5 goals against an inferior opponent.
