Maybe it should feel the same every postseason but this year in particular feels like any team in the East could win. Wouldn’t even sleep on a wildcard with a goalie like Sorokin potentially stealing a series or two. I’m sure the Rangers will be underdogs as the Devils have been the better team all season (by a bit).

No big surprises with this team locked into the 3 seed for months. Just need to be healthy going into game 1, round 1. I don't need a consolation point in meaningless games at this point. Back to back nights, including travel. End of a long season in a basically meaningless game. I could see how some players were disengaged a bit. I could see it going forward til the playoffs start too. With that said, I fear this team getting steamrolled by the devils if they don’t step it up a notch or two come playoffs.

Nearly all teams slump. Look at Tampa in their last 10, look at the Pens before their current winning streak. This team has hit a perfect shitstorm with injuries, spitting stupidity, weird scheduling and trade deadline drama. They are better than this but likely not in the Bruins/Canes tier in the East.
