  1. Scratch Kreider from my earlier statement, just remembered people were saying he put all Canadian teams on his No trade list Sent from my iPad using Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk
  2. prohockeyrumors.com has an article from holger stolzenberg dated January 26. That states the Oilers are looking for scoring and a goaltender to pair with Koskinen as Smith has been inconsistent so far this season and his past shows that he declines in the second half of the season. Article mentions Georgiev as a possible player they could be interested in. Wonder what we can get from them for either or both Kreider and Georgiev. 3. Tom Urtz jr Twitter has posted the times for AHLs fastest skater competition. Joey Keane( more than likely ADAs replacement) finished 2nd with 13.453. ?Makes me wonder how fast ADA would have been if he were to do the skating competition. But besides that the reason I mention this is because Jack Studnicka finished 3rd with a 13.804. Studnicka is a guy mention several times by a couple of people here as a player we should go after in a package along with Fredric and a 1st. for Kreider. He?s 6?2? righthanded and plays C made the AHL all-star team with 30 pts in 44 gms 14 goals. Kreider time was 13.509 btw Sent from my iPad using Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk
  4. Might just be Minnesota looking to get an extra draft pick at the draft. That?s kind of interesting in that going back to the opinion piece written by Jeb Baggart in the hockey writers .com where one of the teams listed as having interest in Georgiev?-Ottawa, listed Logan Brown and a pick ( Ottawa has 2-1st and 3-2nd Rd picks) for Georgiev. Logan Brown being 21 yrs old 6?6?. Taking it a little further, imagine a 4th line of Greenway?Brown?Gettinger, all listed at 6?6?. 5. Of course the most important thing is fitting guys into our cap but that aside Strome is 26 yrs old not 36yrs old. We still need to give Chytil another 2 yrs to develop and with a what 38% face-off win percentage, he needs to develop that part of his game or be moved to the wing. So we can?t really pencil Chytil in as a center let alone our 2 line center because who?s to say if he stays there. Sent from my iPad using Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk
  6. We just need to look for another team who needs a goalie. I posted an opinion piece from the hockey writers.com that said SJ and Ottawa are looking for a goalie as well. While i didn?t like what Jeb Baggart wrote with regards to what we could get from SJ, but Ottawa?s Logan Brown seems intriguing. 6?6? center 21 yrs old, dad Jeff Brown played in the NHL. 7. It?s not like is Georgiev is a 27-28 yr old journeyman goalie who?s bounced around the league. He?ll be 24 next month and already has 3 yrs experience in the NHL. He?s a starting caliber goalie . This year he and Lundqvist have been pretty much 50/50, Lundqvist has played 25 gms and Georgiev has been in 23 gms. I don?t get the backup goalie title everyone is throwing out there?I think it?s more from writers that don?t watch us. And i think it?s obvious Gorton doesn?t view Georgiev as a backup goalie. So we shouldn?t be getting a backup goalies trade value/type of return in a Georgiev trade. Sent from my iPad using Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk
  8. The hockey writers.com has this article: Alexandar Georgiev?s Potential Trade Return Impacted by Past Goalie Deals BY JEB BIGGART JANUARY 23RD, 2020 Sent from my iPad using Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk
  9. Seems everyone throws out Bracco?s name in trades but if Bracco was as good as people think then he would have been up playing in the NHL by now. Keefe was his HC for 2 plus seasons?he has seen Bracco enough to know if he?s ready to play in the NHL, but he?s not. And when you see that Mikheyev, Engvall and Moore have all been brought up ahead of him. I, I question just how good he is. I mean if you?re Toronto wouldn?t you want to give him a shot and see what you have before you move him? So I?m a little hesitant to make a 1 for 1 with Bracco. 10. It?s a 10 day vacation for those not going so who?s really complaining about not having to go Sent from my iPad using Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk
  11. No, Josh said he?d be interested in a 1st Rd pick plus Fredric and Studnicka. We all know that getting a 1st is guaranteed in any deal for Kreider but I think the question is more about what else could/ should go after, so replied both of those guys would be good for our bottom line. Although Studnicka just made the AHL all-star so he may be better than I thought. Not that we can only get the 2 of them for Kreider. Sent from my iPad using Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk
  12. Would love to get both Studnicka and Fredric. Studnicka at 6?2?, Fredric at 6?3? have to be better than Haley and McKegg. Sent from my iPad using Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk
  13. That kind of went side ways: what I meant was if we traded for Nylander we wouldn?t have 5 righties on the PP because there?s no way we can pay everyone so Nylander will more than likely mean an end to Strome and ADA or Kreider being here Unless there?s more to Lundqvist to Colorado than just Mike Chambers opinion piece. Sent from my iPad using Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk
  14. Re: 5 guys on the PP: Yes Panarin, Zibenajad & if we were to get Nylander or Kapanen, but there?s no way Strome & ADA will be here next year. Keep in mind if it?s Nylander we are talking, that?s a 6.9 cap hit. We can?t pay everyone. Re::Lundqvist to Colorado. WOW! WOW!?if that was to happen! But it would be great for us?-clears 8.5 mil in cap and could be enough for us to be able to bring back/re-sign multiple players. Sent from my iPad using Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk
  15. I?m sure there are people who want to keep ADA and Strome as well but there?s no cap room to keep everyone. Sent from my iPad using Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk
  16. What about Fredric and Studnicka for Kreider. Sent from my iPad using Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk

  18. Lundqvist is in great shape and is no where near retiring but he should know that we won?t be winning a cup anytime soon so I can see him wanting to go to a team that has a chance of winning the cup?-everyone wants to win a cup. Leetch, Messier, Kovalev, Zubov even Graves ended their careers elsewhere. Playing for more than 1 team is not an end all be all thing. Players leave and are always welcomed back and even get their numbers retired and get a player appreciation day and/or get a Job within the organization, etc.. 19. May just be a matter of what the Rangers team doctors diagnosed him with and what Anderssons doctors will diagnose him with. Nothing new, Byfuglien was told by the Jets team doctors that what he had didn?t require surgery and when he didn?t see any improvement he got a second opinion and ended up getting the surgery which led to the team suspending him. The Jets stayed quiet because the NHL is investigating. So like I said may just be a matter that has more to do with doctors diagnosis ( could have just been given painkillers or anti inflammatories to bring down the swelling?something along those lines) and not the team at all except that he may have been told to suck it up and play through it, or if he complained of the pain someone telling him he?s soft for ?whining about the pain?. But like was said before the foot thing could have been what was causing his lack of speed. I?d actually be more relieved if this is the case because if it?s an injury than it has nothing to do with the team, his teammates or Quinn and more importantly nothing to do with the players? performance or his ability but a doctor dropping the ball. 20. Did you watch Trautwigs interview with JD? JD will not cave to any players demands, will certainly take him back, and will send him back to Hartford. Because it?s all part of the process of a young player maturing and becoming a man. That?s what I got from the interviews and the kind of person JD comes off as being. He doesn?t cave to players, media, even his own friends opinions. So I think it?s much to do about nothing. He will be sent to Hartford when he comes back end of story. 21. Yeah I remember SJ. Because the fact the his sister lives in California came up. Sent from my iPad using Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk
  22. I was actually thinking Hayton and Crouse for Kreider?this of course would include a contract extension signed by Kreider. Then we can finally dump Haley. Sent from my iPad using Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk
  23. Elliotte Friedman?s 31 thoughts dated December 4th had this: 9. Before the Dec. 1 signing deadline, word is the Oilers re-engaged some of the clubs who had shown previous interest in Jesse Puljujarvi. That includes the Rangers, St. Louis and Tampa Bay. I believe they discussed Lias Andersson with New York, and think Puljujarvi wanted to go there, but things couldn?t close. 25. Interesting decision to bring up Gettinger. Lettieri, O?Reagan and Fogarty were all in double digit scoring. Gettinger was only at 6 pts. If you wanted someone for the 3rd line maybe Meskanen who?s a Finnish player would have played well with Kakko. Sent from my iPad using Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk
