  1. It's one of the worst Rangers teams of those dark ages. An old Gretzky still put up over 90 points with that group.
  2. Bure held out one offseason hoping to come here? That I do not remember. Damn! lol
  3. I think Boone is definitely gone after this season. Unfortunately, the real crux of the problem, Brian Cashman, will still be here forever.
  4. This is true. If anything some or most of the players offensive stats could wind up being worse, even if it means the team is better and harder to play against.
  5. That was a terrible summer and truly the beginning of the end. Messier leaves in a bad way, Gretzky is basically by himself now and the franchise began it's downward spiral. Really too bad Mark didn't stay here, and I know Canucks fans feel the same way.
  6. With Messier I don't think they'd be a problem. Plus, again, I think Eric would be elated to play with his idol. So, I don't think the parents (more specifically the father) would have been a huge issue. At least, not until he was due a new contract.
  7. Not very good and completely unmotivated to get into shape and improve. Hooray.
  8. Shesterkin goes from one assist to four this season. (+3) GIMME DAT SYSTEM! Fox gets 90 points. (+18)
  9. Oof. There goes the credibility of one of the best sports movies.
  10. Yeah, he's gotten his Yankees teams to a couple of ALCS appearances and nearly a World Series. I think the players generally like and respect him. Cashman is problem numero uno. The last three years especially he's totally wrecked this franchise, inside and out. They are a laughing stock and a complete joke. I don't think it's really an attractive destination anymore for players. Depending on health, it's possible they will be worse next season. As I said to myself before the season, Judge should have signed with San Francisco.
  11. I never really have honestly. Yeah guys like Marchand and Lucic are dicks, but so what? They can play for me any day, and Bergeron was a class act all the way and just so good.
  12. Imagine in there is a holdout? lol Geez. As if this situation with him wasn't already embarrassing enough.
  13. A coach who knows what the fuck he is doing and has a system and gameplan. There's your fucking details.
  14. The new contract will actually just be an upgrade to his Dunkin' membership and to be a spokesman that will do commercials.
  15. No, it definitely is and they're a great franchise. If I was a fan, I'd still be disappointed, though, seeing as how they could have been something greater and won more Stanley Cups. Losing to the Blues and this year, especially, was a disaster.
  16. The next few weeks? Training camp is next month, so that would be nice. lol I'm sure it will get done relatively soon, it's just been annoying waiting on it.
  17. This team became a shell of itself in a hurry. At least they brought Lucic back. If I was a Bruins fan, I'd be so disappointed they only got one Stanley Cup championship with the core group they had. They really should have been beaten the Blues a few years ago.
  18. This whole thing with Cashman reminds me a bit of the Sather situation here. Basically a job for life for such an incompetent person. Even if they fire Boone, they're only going to bring in another puppet anyway, but I'm just sick of seeing him anyway. lol Hal is also a stooge and I have no faith in him to find a suitable GM replacement even if he actually fired Cashman. At this point, I'm hoping for a last place finish as well as a losing season. At the very least, I think Boone is gone if that happens, maybe. Top to bottom, they're just in a really sad state. I haven't been this down about the team since the early 90's.
  19. It looks like No Man's Sky and Mass Effect put together, but possibly better. I'm very excited for it. Bethesda, for the most part, usually makes very good games, they just tend to be buggy. Oblivion, Skyrim, Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas are all great.
  20. Lindgren is the best thing that came out of Rick Nash playing for the Rangers.
  21. That team and the 2002-2003 team were probably the only two squads from that time period that should have been in the playoffs. They just missed in that season as Dunham almost single-handedly got them into the postseason. The following year was one of the worst seasons ever and the '97-'98 and '99-'00 were also especially terrible.
