Win or lose, again, kudos to Seattle. What a run in just their second year. Huge progress for that team after expected first year expansion blues. Ron Francis knew what was in store the second year, so I don't think he really cared.

I think that was the best episode of the season. This has definitely been the worst of three seasons. It's not bad at all, but it's just missing more of the charm the first two seasons had. Having said that, they are now setting up for what should be a really good conclusion at least.

You never noticed? During the Rangers/Devils series, they both sounded rather sad when the Rangers did something positive (like score), compared to New Jersey. You can hear it in their voices.

No, I definitely blame the players more for this series. Much more. Like maybe 90/10. I still think GG could have done better is all, despite the general make up of the team maybe not be conducive for playoff success. I still think his firing is justified. I have stated earlier that postseason flameouts like this one are very concerning, and I am worried about the core of this team. As much as I have always liked Kane as a player, and I didn't hate getting him, he really wasn't what they needed. I looked around and saw teams get a Domi or a Bertuzzi or a Meier, and I'm thinking the Rangers should have gotten any one of those types of players instead. Would it have made a huge difference with how everyone else performed? Perhaps not, but Drury still wound up getting the shiny toy instead of things that were actually needed.

I do like him as a commentator, but he won't get much love here in general because he's very anti-Ranger. lol You wouldn't expect anything less from a former Flyer and Capital.
