  1. 100% chance he knew exactly what he was doing. That's simply indisputable. I don't hate the guy for doing it, that takes massive balls, and he enjoyed every minute of it, even the cross check. Good for him. I want more guys like that. He achieved the best possible outcome (Iced game and Rielly suspended) for a pound of flesh. This is the way in this sport. That's why it's great.
  2. Yeah, he needs to be very Foxy. It's a hard skill to master, though. (Deception). It can come with a lot of growing pains. I listen to a lot of coaching podcasts, and coaches seem to be on the fence with developing that skill, having to balance it with not turning the puck over 20 times a night.
  3. It was a perfect transaction. I'm 100% sure Greig got exactly what he wanted out of it.
  4. I like this Greig guy, now, too after watching that whole game. It's so much fun having a guy like that on your team.
  5. Nothing like randomly shutting your league down for a 7-10 days to play an all star game nobody watches.
  6. To get even close to that the Rangers would have had to be Kakko/1st/Sykora/Robertson Probably would had to include Othmann to beat what they got. I wonder of they'd flip Kuzmenko
  7. I think there's a chance this gets thrown out all together for delays. I think they have 30 months to make it happen, from what I've been reading. They're definitely going to be up against it. Nothing gets done in a timely manner, here. If that happens, holy fuck what a travesty.
  8. He definitely should shelve the retro setup, as sweet as it is. He's not big enough to use darker colored gear, he needs to be in all white, it gives him the best chance for success.
  9. Everything flipped when Captain Tkachuk fought a guy for no reason. You love to see it
  10. Sportsnet announcers are really puzzled around Fox's footspeed.
  11. You can really only find that kind of sublime quality at 1st OA
  12. Tkachuk is so tough that legend has it he once spent a day in a Public School.
  13. I'm not sure any of us can answer that, but I think it'd be a good guess that 50% of your lineup having a nmc probably isn't healthy.
  14. That takes discipline. Neither the players, nor the coach are willing to do what it takes to make that a reality.
  15. Panarin just doesn't give a fuck about anything other than attempting whatever sauce he wants to, anywhere on the ice, at any time.
  16. It's funny because he's the poster child for 1OA busts, and he was much more effective than Lafreniere, initially anyways.
