Bad drinking problem

With even "solid" goaltending we are probably looking at a 3-2-1 start at the absolute worst. That's even with the disengaged play and bizarre line combo switching. I'd love more structure and a better collective mindset.. But I don't see them making a move unless things get much worse.

this is a pipe dream.. Quinn isn't going anywhere. Just read JD's thoughts on the team and its progress from before camp, I don't think upper management viewed this team as a playoff squad in my reading between the lines.. And it appears to be the correct take. Quinn has made some questionable moves from a line construction and lineup setting perspective. But this team has been awful because Zib, Strome, and Kreider have been non existent. Panarin has been a shell of what we saw last year. ADA a non factor and Trouba is still wildly inconsistent.. Sprinkle in some really bad goaltending and you have a dogshit and anit-freeze smoothie.. Coaching is one of the few professions where you get fired for guys who get paid exponentially more than you, not doing their jobs. Buch is the only guy in the top 6 playing like these games count, not going to win many games with that level of compete. Its embarrassing for the players if the coach needs to get them to play to their potential

Mika and Strome win 28% of the draws they took 5 minor penalties The Carolina series seems to be a perfect snapshot of what this team has become. They must have left something in Colorado back in March. This team just sucks.

100% agree buddy.. He looked like a lost kid against the Isles day 1, ever game his gets a bit more steady.. He was arguably the most noticeable guy on the ice last night.

I will forever enjoy Torts. He is a breath of fresh air. If I were the GM of his club I'd want to fire him at least once a week I'm guessing

I’m keep seeing PLD and Canadian teams.. I’m thinking the trades between US teams and Canadian clubs will need to be a really good deal as the player going to Canada could miss 5-ish games due to COVID quarantine.

My oldest daughter just hung up her lacrosse cleats. Was on a break due to concussions, decided it just wasn't worth it as plying in college wasn't a big goal. I'm just happy my kids didn't gravitate to competitive swimming. My college roommate is in it times 3.. Up every morning at 4 for practice, weekends are shot for meets etc.. 12 months a year.. His oldest is going to get a scholarship.... that should cover his books and meal plan. The year round nature of kids sports is nuts to me- that wasn't the case when I was 12 (47 now so its eon's ago)

I'm with you, I think Trouba needs a partner more than anything.. Let him work with the guy, play him with Miller, give it 10 games and reevaluate. I think all these guys are guessing on what's happening from shift to shift.. ADA and Smith might be the best option for the 3rd pair?

I'd like to see what Anthony Bitetto can do as well.. I can't imagine it being much worse.

I'd like to see Fox, Trouba, and ADA actually get a partner and actually play more than 2 periods with said partner. Perhaps some continuity between the pairs might help? Just a thought.. but what to I know.
