Igor is great as long as they dont shoot high glove, low blocker, 5 hole, backhand, one-timer or a breakaway. Other than those, outstanding.

If he can help us land another player who can chip in more offense I am all for moving on. He hasnt made any jumps or shown any 2nd gear. What does he bring that we dont already have from Bonino, Vesey, Goodrow and Pitlick? He is redundant and holding up a pretty high spot on the roster. I understand having a winning record hides the flaws but if we had a losing record he would absolutely be one of the people in the spotlight as a non-contributor.

Time to move on from Kakko at the deadline I think. He is defensively responsible and not much more. He is a black hole.

When Igor skated by the bench during the playoffs last year and yelled at everyone that was our rock bottom I think. The team was broken, lifeless and nobody gave a shit. Thats behind them now and unity seems like a huge issue being addressed.

Any moment now Kakko is going to break out. This is the year, totally.

Side note, Im sorry but Lindgren cannot be in the long term plans here. He’s already way too beat and unreliable at way too early in his career.
