For the record, it's appalling to only have one game tonight. 2 yesterday, 1 tonight. I get that they don't want to compete with the NFL, but come the fuck on. 3 NHL games in 2 days at the beginning of the season is just bad.
I also get that Tuesdays and Thursdays are the NHL's shit, but whatever. I'm ranting.
The NBA season opens tomorrow night so they're just competing against that now.

Insane that we can’t find line mates for an $11mil player
Chytil missing most of camp has been detrimental to figuring out whether that duo could work together. They really need them to click. -
I have zero expectations beyond that Laf will ultimately fuck up a play. They effectively let him run the top PP unit last night and he did fuck all with it. He's finally getting the time, space, and opportunity that some clamored for and he has no clue what to do with it. I don't see any creativity from him at all, everything is forced or too slow. Karl Henriksson looked more dynamic and engaged than Laf. Everyone is outworking him and I'm not sure he notices.

If Othmann can switch to RW a Cuylle - Rempe - Othmann line could be effective down the road.
I don't think Rempe will be a full-time player if he ever hits the NHL. He definitely won't be centering a line with the intent to score, he's a fourth-liner.

@Drew a Penaltyyou sure there's a timer in Act 3? Because I keep finding new side-quests and the amount of stuff to do is just too insane for an actual timer, unless one triggered a quest or something.

Sabotaging the news article about you
Orin kidnapping someone from your camp with the threat of killing them
I don’t know what else is time specific.
You don’t need to go as slow as I did at all. But I’d say don’t let 7 days pass for certain objectives.

It just killed me that they flipped him during the fire sale when they were trotting the likes of Steve Kampfer, Rob O' Gara and Ryan Sproul every night when they had an AHL All Star in Hartford.
Would it have killed them to give Graves a 10 game audition?
Probably not but Gilmour and Pionk jumped him on the depth chart. And again, he didn’t really find his game until he was in the Colorado organization. -
46 minutes ago, MuddyInTheMiddle said:
Yes and no.
I mean that someone needs to be the 12th and 13th forwards on the roster. Assuming Cuylle or Othman don't make the roster out of camp; those two plus Tyler Pitlick are the prime candidates.
The point still applies. Motte was never going to be an option as the 13th. This is a guy who thinks he’s a third liner. -
Belzile and Nash are more likely for Hartford than the NHL roster. The difference between them and Motte is that they’ll accept that assignment.
Motte didn’t come down to earth with his price in time for him to be an option for the Rangers. The Rangers signed all of their free agents in the first few days.
