  1. totally agree and it's something he can and should learn from but it's a current flaw that I'm sure he's aware of and working on.
  2. I certainly think it's something worth tracking, can't win a face off you don't take because you got thrown out of. Can't lose it either but the goal is to win them.
  3. Good for him, he went down there kept his head up and earned the recall in a couple of weeks. Others should take note of the right way to do it.
  4. I was a huge Krieder fan but no longer. In a contract year where he's looking to cash in his play has been absolute garbage when he should be leading the way for some of these kids. He looks completely uninterested and for the life of me I don't get it. Even if he's not scoring he should be flying around but instead outside of garbage time goals he's been an invisible passenger. I'm in the get rid of him as soon as you can column, Honestly I really don't see him as anything more than a rental because I would imagine he's going to look for a huge deal and I just can't see the value in any team giving it to him. Extremely disappointed I expected him to step way up given the circumstances.
  5. Yeah Kakko continuing his strong pursuit of the green jacket. Putting even more space between him and the next worst +/- player. Certainly expected him to struggle at times but shit didn't expect him to be flat out bad more often than not. Might be time to enjoy a game or two from the pressbox. I wonder if one of the guys Quinn thinks are expecting the game to come easy is Kakko?
  6. Hmmmm not sure I would say it was a hit to the head, but the end result wasn't good. I must of slowed this down 10 different times and it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.
  7. Just got home and caught the goals. really solid hit by Trouba as he got skated around for a goal. Missed the hit on the boards by that much. We need some more structure.
  8. Just not a good look at all, certainly not what was expected of him going into the season. Not the end of the world for him by any means, I guess. Would of much rather him stay and fight rather than running home. For now he can F'off.
  9. I think the odds of them recalling him became 0.0 once the door closed behind him. C'ya.
  10. Was too busy pissing myself and missed Josh's post. According to Sam and Joe - Quinn made a point of saying that other teams don't look forward to working along the boards and in the corners with Smith on the ice.
  11. He better have a strong back and oversized shoulders to carry this bunch. They're banking on so many kids growing into top players and the odds of not having some guys who don't is pretty high. I just don't see some of these guys as being those kind of players. Will be interesting to see who steps up and who doesn't.
  12. Nailed it. He's a kid but damn his highlight reel goal against the scrubs in Traverse City setoff all kinds of expectations, unlimited jersey sales etc. His start has been more of a kick in the balls as a result. Hopefully he grows into a dominant force but he's far far from it. Can he get there? Hopefully but he's gotta a lot of work ahead of him. Hard not to be disappointed with what he's shown so far. Mix in he'll have to overcome Quinn's sometimes moronic lines and it could be a lot longer that we had hoped.
  13. Getting to the point where just his attitude and voice aggravates me in these post game interviews. Forget about all the dreadful lineup and ice time decisions he makes on a nightly basis.
