Playoffs too! The whole season...if there's a GDT, it's in play! Same as last Year...I'll weigh the playoff wins with heavier rankings, as it's "go time"! Guys can jump up higher with playoff wins. I'm making a value system of: (Regular season wins + Current Rank (Playoff win value) √ 3.14 + Number of Trouba turnovers If a guy wins a playoff GDT, The Power rankings will look like this: (The second value will be playoff wins.) 1. Yeah, I doubt it too....Gus isn't terrible, and he was damn good when Foxy was out. I can live with Gus. I can't live with "Fumbles" the grenade chucker! (Trouba)

This is probably going to be the answer for the playoffs. He can't be on the top pairing. PERIOD. Not if we actually wanna win some games. When he was out, we really had a quick, mobile, fast puck moving D, that was very efficient in our own end and really didn't get pinned in too often during games. Now it seems like every other shift, were lobbing shit blindly up the boards, giving it up at the blueline, having shitty d zone coverage. I look and sure enough, number fucking 8 is on the ice. He's killing K', I'm sorry. I know a lot of you guys don't like Miller, but seriously...when Trouba was out, I thought K' played his best hockey of the season. I think Pete has this one nailed with those pairings I quoted above. I'd rather Jones too at this point. He's earned that shit. Gus isn't horrible. I just rather Zac in there now.

The Rangers are pissed. Laviolette is beyond pissed. I can imagine what they're gonna look like on Thursday night. The Flyers are going up against a buzzsaw that's on the loose. I see a 7-1, 8-2 win on Thursday. Be that as it may, Saturday afternoon is payback, bitch! Home ice, and a whole lotta beatings going on. I'll bet my nut bag Rempe is in, and on a mission! Been there lots of times. Matter of fact, the first game I ever went to was a tie. It's hard to remember, but I think it was either the North Stars or the Seals back around Christmas time in 1971. It was either 1-1 or 2-2. But I didn't mind it. It's what I grew up knowing, so all this is just "eh" to me. Participation Trophy area, I suppose

I don't and never like OT during the regular season. I don't remember what year they decided to make it part of the game; I think it was the late 80's, but I'm not sure. I always was cool with a 60 minute game, and when the playoffs came, OT was really exciting, because you never really got to see it. Penalty shots are now so watered down with the shootout, it's like "who gives a fuck"? Back in the day, when a guy got a penalty shot, I'd pee my pants. Now...I could pretty much give a flying shit! I'm not sure how 10 minute OT's would fly with the Player's Association, like Pete said, but I think less is more when it comes to the NHL. They're trying to make what I thought was a perfect game, better and I really feel like a re-visit to the "way it was" would do wonders for the standings. I'd actually love to see what the standings would be like under the old school method, but I really wouldn't know how to convert it!

This is what I've come to accept with him. I know all the good's, bad's and ugly's at this point with Kreider, and I accept that's who he is. ...but it is still funny when we pick on him! LOL

I still like the old school way: Win - 2pts Tie after 60 min - 1 point apiece Lose - you get NOTHING! I like OT as a playoff novelty, and shootouts don't turn me on at all.
