I've come to the conclusion that we all have something in common here: We're all fucking certifiably nuts! LOL

The Rangers are pissed. Laviolette is beyond pissed. I can imagine what they're gonna look like on Thursday night. The Flyers are going up against a buzzsaw that's on the loose. I see a 7-1, 8-2 win on Thursday. Be that as it may, Saturday afternoon is payback, bitch! Home ice, and a whole lotta beatings going on. I'll bet my nut bag Rempe is in, and on a mission! We're going to see the Rangers in a new light after that one. That will be the RANGERS BEAST MODE....(soon playing in a playoff game near you!)

Been there lots of times. Matter of fact, the first game I ever went to was a tie. It's hard to remember, but I think it was either the North Stars or the Seals back around Christmas time in 1971. It was either 1-1 or 2-2. But I didn't mind it. It's what I grew up knowing, so all this is just "eh" to me. Participation Trophy area, I suppose

I don't and never like OT during the regular season. I don't remember what year they decided to make it part of the game; I think it was the late 80's, but I'm not sure. I always was cool with a 60 minute game, and when the playoffs came, OT was really exciting, because you never really got to see it. Penalty shots are now so watered down with the shootout, it's like "who gives a fuck"? Back in the day, when a guy got a penalty shot, I'd pee my pants. Now...I could pretty much give a flying shit! I'm not sure how 10 minute OT's would fly with the Player's Association, like Pete said, but I think less is more when it comes to the NHL. They're trying to make what I thought was a perfect game, better and I really feel like a re-visit to the "way it was" would do wonders for the standings. I'd actually love to see what the standings would be like under the old school method, but I really wouldn't know how to convert it!

This is what I've come to accept with him. I know all the good's, bad's and ugly's at this point with Kreider, and I accept that's who he is. ...but it is still funny when we pick on him! LOL

I still like the old school way: Win - 2pts Tie after 60 min - 1 point apiece Lose - you get NOTHING! I like OT as a playoff novelty, and shootouts don't turn me on at all.

Kahnle is also going to make his way back, Sharpy. He should help out in the pen as well. They've been really good, and I like seeing that Volpe doesn't swing and miss very often at all anymore. He's a pretty good hit and run threat.

Lucky seat....bought a new leather reclining sofa last July, and it's worked pretty well this season. Also my lucky black Nike hat. Always a black concert tee shirt...although lately my Degeneration X tee has been getting it done against top teams

The best I can say is he might...if we're up 3-0 against a team, I'd have no problem putting him in there. OR... If god forbid Igor get's cold...again, I'm good putting him in there. Either way, I have no issue putting Quick in net...the guy's a winner, also has been here and done it before...Twice, with 3 rings.

You know he has more in the tank, G. We've watched this guy his whole career, and I remember the days when he would run goalies and play like an escaped murderer on parole! I expect him to take his game to another level, and you could probably add Trouba in with him. These "veteran" players should have a good handle on when to turn on the afterburners. But yeah, the whole..."Oh by the way, here's another 40 goals, and I'm not even trying yet!" LOL

I'm actually digging the "underdog" mentality this year @Steve. All the times we were picked to win, so to speak...I think it puts unnecessary pressure on a team. All I know is that there are going to be a TON of "analysts", and critics that are going to have to kiss our sweet asses when we turn the corner down the Canyon Of Heroes this June! I wouldn't sweat it my man. I like being the "Worst kept secret that everyone knows, but won't admit". Hang tough my brutha!!

Zibby's been good, but he had to carry that whole line this season. Roslovic is going to be very important, because it frees Zibby up to get loose in the offensive zone instead of cover for both wingers up and down the ice. Add in the fact that Zibby has been pretty much making the rush from all 200 feet for much of the season. Kreider is NOT a good puck handler, and is not a guy we want with the puck on his stick in the neutral zone. Roslovic can do that, and also play a responsible 2-way game. If Zibby's making the zone entry AND also having to find open ice, that's hard to do, exerting all that effort, only to have Krieder go to the front of the net, or have Wheeler lagging 5 seconds behind the play. I just think there was a ton on his plate this year with the amount of "turtles" he's had to cover for. I don't think it's any coincidence he's playing arguably his best hockey of the season since we acquired Roslovic. But I wouldn't worry about any of that because I think Kreider saved a lot of it for the playoffs. He's been there and done this many times before. The regular season to him is probably a dress rehearsal, and I think we get the whole package come the post season.

I'm looking to see them hit another gear in the playoffs. I think there's a lot more "effort" they can give, especially when it comes to physical play. Krieder plays full speed, and Zibby's shots find net instead of iron.
