I like the excitement around the team. I think it should be a fun season with Soto, Judge and Verdugo out in the outfield!

I thought Verdugo had one at the end! Stroman looked great, but it's a LONG season. Last time Yanks were shutout on opening day was my actual birthday: April 14th 1967! That's old, man!!!! LOL

That's pretty spot on. You get that extra 1/2 second that makes all the difference. It doesn't seem like a lot, but at that level, a half a second is the difference between getting a shot through, past a goalie or having it blocked or swallowed up. The extra step would do him a world of good. I don't think anyone is that fast that they can't be faster/better/stronger...especially at 23 years old.

Yes... The patience test.........PASSED! It's a shame it's taken me over 50 years of rooting for this team to understand the need for patience with young players.

There are so very few, not only coaches, but people with the passion of that man! Torts is still a guy I root for, even if it's "fuck the Flyers"! Love his passion! I wish it was available in a bottle!
