  1. This was excellent and obviously, the photos are wonderful. He must have taken 100,000 photos or more to show what they did over the course of an hour -- hour and a half. I'm the "photographer's driver" whenever my son goes out for one of his NYC shoots either by himself or with a group. He takes 350-450 shots to get 2-3 worth posting to Instagram.
  2. Not one kid. Second year like this. Everyone has pretty much aged out in my immediate (semi-rural) area so until houses turn over with younger families...
  3. ^THIS! Heck, maybe we can get him interested in hockey too. (Hey - I didn't realize one of the Apollo Group founders (Harris) was part owner of the Devils. It was mentioned in today's WSJ article.) https://www.wsj.com/articles/a-433-billion-wall-street-giant-has-a-reputation-problem-its-josh-harriss-job-to-fix-it-11604116827?mod=hp_lista_pos2
  4. He made us all wish we were Bond. RIP
  5. Nespresso is great and Illy is a strong favorite too. When I was much younger my uncle owned a spices, teas and coffee store in the French Quarter of New Orleans. I lived with him for about 8 months and every morning my grandmother made us a sampling from his 70-coffee import list. She made press, drip and invert drip with 4-6 coffees every day. We?d sample small cups for breakfast and my uncle was trying to teach me nuanced flavors so I could help sell in the retail store. I was a cream and sugar guy back then so I did not learn too much. Kona Hawaii and real Jamaica Blue Mountain stood out. Years later, my wife and I brought an entire suitcase full of Venezuelan coffee back home from a trip. (Must look into getting some Bonez.)

  7. Creative thinking sod - I like this. Also Most NHL fans to Red Wings: STFU! Hasn?t DET won 10 Cups in a row and ran deep into the playoffs every year since 1947? *sarcasm*
  8. Crazy Uncle Rudy in the film LOL - you can't make this up. (Yeah, I always tuck my shirt in lying down on my back on the bed.)
  9. Those first few laps were fun and visually exciting with cars battling side-by-side turn after turn over a couple of laps. If F1 can capture THAT with the upcoming formula they will have a very compelling series that will surely expand the viewership. The American marketplace is huge and barely tapped right now since I think most people see F1 as a 'European thing.'
  10. ALB facing ultimatum from RB?s Horner. Horner is a task master and not someone to get on his wrong side. True, ALB has underwhelmed.
  11. Haas casting GRO and MAG to the wind. What?s going on? Making way for SHU Jr? I wish that Haas would make a full-on press to make itself an American team. Corvette or Cadillac engine. Sprint or NASCAR driver backed by USA $.
  12. Portugal track is beautiful with great elevation changes. That dip after the main straight into turn 1 is really cool.
  13. I?m thinking this may have some legs and we may find out as time goes on.
  14. Like dunny, I grew to appreciate the longevity of his work but not all the extra "words" - he'd be a great radio guy. Yes to Ken Albert!
  15. Frost warning tonight in the Hudson Valley. Windows will be closed.
  16. All we ask is that he continue to make progress on D. Offensive game is real. Attitude has been managed I think. Gorton & Co. seem to have tamed his 'not so good' side, right? I'm not a fan of his politics but that's not why I go to MSG and root hard - I'll cheer like a nut when he scores.
  17. Thx Phil for moving my message and the commentary. I'm not sure why I became bored or uninterested because up until that point, the show was compelling. Maybe it still is...I'll have to find a moment like jsrangers said and see if I can get into it again.
  18. Q? Anyone still watching Walking Dead? Is it still on? IDK since I stopped watching many moons ago.
  19. Hated the ending. That?s why I?m glad they had a change of heart and appear to be trying out a new way to end the series - at least that?s my takeaway. Granted the books were better.
  20. :pbjtime::clap: and also this... :nervous:
  21. This Lake Louise promo video with super cool colorful ice and no snow on it is awesome!
  22. I'm tossed about HAM - sure he's good. The cars (and team coaching) are very different than Shumi's days on track. RIC had a great drive and HUL literally downed his coffee and took a drive - that was a very commendable effort from him. ALB - what's going on here? Very unlike what I expected from him this season in that Red Bull car. LEC eeked out a decent weekend gives me hope that Ferrari is finding something in that bag of rocks. WTF with Honda pulling out too? This isn't the first time that they left the sport. If they come back to F1 in the future can they be trusted to remain as a long-term partner? I think teams might be skittish about hooking up with them again. I have the podium stuff on DVR and need to watch to see what transpired with Mick.
