I don't disagree. I liked his game. That being said, it doesn't hurt to have more than one stay at home d in the pipeline. We just don't have enough ice time for all these offensive dmen.
I'm assuming BPA at 20 is one of:
Victor Soderstrom, D, Brynas (Swe.)
Moritz Seider, D, Mannheim (Ger.)
Thomas Harley, D, Mississauga (OHL)
Ville Heinola, D, Lukko (Fin.)
Generally, yes. BPA. I'm just hoping that's a big Dman.
We have those high-end puck movers and OFD. I'm ready to bulk up on some guys that can just flat out play defense. I hope they go DFD in the #20 spot this draft and just keep adding to the stock pile of D we have now -- seemingly out of nowhere.
I don't think there's any chance the Rangers go after him. Even if it comes out that they are, it may well be a ploy from Karlsson's agent to get the big fish biting. He just doesn't make sense on any level for the Rangers.
Especially after hearing JD talk. I can't see it happening.
I think Berube is in a tough spot tonight. Binnington has not been very good in the finals. Another weak game and he could cost his team the cup.
I think he was left in too long on Saturday. I can't imagine he has a long leash in Game 4.
Every single time a name pops up here people make their pitch to get him. Do we understand that we have the most expensive d in the league and at the same time quite possibly the worst?
Zaitsev is another anchor in both playing style and contract.
I agree with this. For the right term, pavelski would be a good move.
I?m more talking about the not-so-marquee names like Duchene and that that second tier below Panarin. I have no interest in that and neither should the Rangers.
I'm just gonna re-answer the question:
If Panarin doesn't sign, the correct choice is nobody.
Stay the fucking course. The last thing we need to do is overspend and push the make the playoffs. Let it happen naturally.
