QUOTE(S) TO NOTE:

“I think some chances went in. Trocheck’s goal was pretty opportunistic. Good bounce. I think we’re due to get a good bounce or two and kind of get us back in games. Get us feeling good. You get back and you’re feeling better and you’re rolling. Things kind of happen for you.”

Why is the first line in the 3rd line spot?

When doing this GDT, I found out the Ducks haven't won in regulation yet. 19 games, 5 wins - 3 in OT, 2 in the shootout, 0 in regulation.

Tonight, unstoppable force meets immovable object, as Jaroslav Halak looks for his first win.

Place your bets accordingly.

In other words, unwinnable force meets unwinnable object.

If we ever learn how to clear the damn zone, and stop turning it over at our own blueline, I think that would help immensely!!!

I don't know if it's just me, but every time we cough one up, trying to just get the puck out of our zone, it seems to end up with a GRADE A+ chance against, or it ends up in our net.

Bang it off the damn glass, or at this point we could even take an icing if need be.  Our faceoff stats are a lot better this year!!  No need to lose the puck at our own blueline.

The Ducks have 111 pts.  Just saying...

Oh and just to add the way things have been going this season this is a 3-1 loss with the Ducks getting a late empty-netter after the Rangers score 1 goal on 48 shots in the first 59:51.

Last week when asked to predict the amount of points on the road trip I predicted Strome would get the OT game winner.   After last nights first period I would have stood by that prediction, after the second and third periods I have much more faith this one will end in regulation with a Rangers win.
