Youngest team in the NHL, we shouldn’t forget.  Egos haven’t been toughened up.  That fragility got exposed by Nemeth’s unforgivable penalty, the ensuing PP and goal.  That’s the turning point of the game.

Sounds plausible, but where are all the stars, who are not that young anymore?

Hey, we made the playoffs this year, that's a positive step.  Now it's time to assess what we need to move/acquire in the offseason to move to the next level and make a deeper playoff run.  Use this as a chance to get the kids feet wet in playoff hockey, it's invaluable experience for them.  I mean, at this point how else can you look at it?

It hurts more because they were #2 seed, almost #1.  Losing is one thing and understandable.  But like this?  Nah.  No silver lining to that.

Man this playoff disappointment ranks up there for me. Reminds me of the Giants losing to the Eagles the year Plax shot himself. Total shitshow.

As much as it's sucking right now, I can't really say I'm disappointed.  We knew coming into this that there are glaring holes on this team as well as a lot of youth with little to no experience playing this many games etc....  they made it this far which is further than they have in the last bunch of years.

That one, I have no answer for.  Heck, the kids have at least shown up and shown flashes.  The vets are in a power outage.

Young guys are actually the ones playing well (which bodes well for the future) but yeah, the big guns have all gone cold....
