Told you guys. Looked like a separated shoulder. Avery suffered one similar from a hit from Chris Neil years back and missed a month. If Motte tore shit in his shoulder, expect 8 weeks plus.

Damn, I feel bad for him. I wonder if Gallant will start resting guy down the stretch to keep from getting any more injuries.

Motte was a great pickup and it sucks if we end up only getting these few games out of him.

 

Definitely would want to bring him back next year. Hopefully we go on a deep enough playoff run where he can factor back in for us

You would think when some one is being scouted that they could tell he’s soft as all hell.

If he tore his labrum or rotator cuff or both, surgery + 6 month rehab.

Anyone hear the outlook on Blais since he was on that last road trip?  Would be a nice trade-off if Blais can make it back for the playoffs if Motte is out until next season.  It would be a hell of a recovery if Blais can get back during the playoffs.

When he went to St Louis? I dont think that was because he was doing better.

 

Surgery was in December. takes 6-8 months to recover and be ready. Doesnt leave enough time to return this season.

You were right, Boss....That sucks too.  I like that kid!  He plays a tough game and made some good plays in our own zone the last couple of games.
