Between this and Kucherov I'm sick of the bullshit 😛

Either the cap means something, or it doesn't. With these 2 situations, it's been exposed as  the total fraud it's always been. Recall NHL lost a whole season and had numerous work stoppages and labor strife because the evil mite Bettman whined and mewled like  sugared up 6 year old being told no more candy on Halloween night  about cost certainty and competitive balance. He did also it to keep a team in Arizona for no good reason while we now know he could've shifted them to Vegas and made it a large market team in  a heartbeat.  The cap is  nonsense. We have to have a rule to protect James Dolan from his checkbook? NYR sucked for years between 1997 and Lundqvist's arrival, and most of that time there was no cap.

That's all great Bugg other than Bettman didn't make the requirement of a cap and "cost certainty" up on his own. His the puppet and nothing more, ok a flaming douche too but that's besides the point. Blame the owners for getting clowned on the loophole. Let's see if they go after closing it in the next cba. There's not enough Dolan's in the group that carry the same unlimited checkbook so the cap isn't going anywhere plus the guy bought one cup with that unlimited bank roll anyway.

Eichel is back skating 20 days after surgery. Nuts. All of this BS for this guy and 20 days post surgery he is back out there. Prolly months till he actually plays hockey again but still. What a travesty the Sabres put him through.

I'm just glad to see the guy get to resume his career....finally!  I think both sides could've handled it a TON better, but thank god that whole debacle is over and we can all move on.

im disappointed we missed out on this guy.

After reading some news stories it seems it may have been more them not wanting him here than us not pursuing him.

I know…but still. I would’ve been ok with us trading 4 first rounders foe him
