He hasn't practiced in 10+ days. You'd think he'd need a few before getting back in a game.

Ah thanks. I get it, but this year there are entire teams going longersteetches without practicing for covid reasons and he's 19. I feel like it has to me more specific his specific health rather than just not practicing.

But who knows.

Given that we're winning or competitive in most games in the last two weeks, I'm not too upset about it. He can take an extra game if that's what's going to be best for him. No sense rushing him back if he's at 85% and then you've got to give him half his ice time or something like that.

 

I obviously want him back as soon as he's ready to go.

my guess is him having type 1 diabetes and celiac disease means they have to really handle him with care when dealing with this stuff.
