fletch
99% chance they are missing the playoffs. You are rooting for a 1% chance of facing Tampa in the first round, instead of getting a higher draft pick. http://www.playoffstatus.com/nhl/easternstandings.html

You are rooting for a 1% chance of facing Tampa in the first round, instead of getting a higher draft pick. http://www.playoffstatus.com/nhl/easternstandings.html No! I'm rooting for the team, that I have been following for 63 years, to win. At this point it is obvious that their play-off chances are remote. However, as a NYR fan, I will always root for them to win.

fletch
We need a better, more talented team to win the Cup, which requires an infusion of young talent. Being an intelligent fan is rooting for what is best for the franchise.
NYRanger11
As always, want to see the young guys compete and play hard. When we score I will be excited. Only difference is I won't be upset about a loss whatsoever. Same as watching the Jets the last couple years. Won't openly cheer against us just won't be mad if we lose.
