The crow is a bringer of bad news in this case, cause "dark wings and dark words". And the "Rains of Castamere" hints I believe, to a certain event we should see this season. As good as it is that he's signed on for another two seasons of the series, I'd rather him focus on the books. Especially with his feelings towards fan fiction. Not so sure about that, he once said in a talkshow that he isn't the type to plan ahead. Of course he has a rough draft of the ending he wants, but it's not like he has thought out they way to get there already. So even the ending might still change a lot during the process of writing. He really has to speed up a bit, even considering that they split book 3 in 2 seasons and might make 2-4 seasons out of books 4+5, that's not much time considering how long it took him the last time...
