'Sons of Anarchy' on FX

Ah, now I follow. Initially I thought you were trying to imply that because the Cartel came up with no info, and because you think the documents were bullshit, that Otto, Juice, etc. would get off.... but instead you think they are bullshit so he can bring down everyone.

I don't think that's the case, though. His character doesn't strike me as one that would break the law like that... he certainly will bend it in any way, shape, or form to accomplish what he wants... he will deceive, trick, entrap, etc... but he won't outright commit an unlawful act to do it. His character is all about accomplishing everything by being clever, and smarter than everyone else.

The difference is minimal. Technically speaking his faking those documents to use SOA/Juice/Otto/Bobby is entrapment/deceit/trickery, so why is it so far-fetched to think he'd go full circle?

Keep in mind here.. you're talking about a guy who used Sheriff Roosevelt (of all people) and forced him to break the law (trumped up charges on Juice) to begin with.

I dunno... all I'm saying is I see him being a bigger picture player for season 5. Club mutiny and Tara/Gemma aren't enough for a season's worth of drama. Something has to happen with Rico/Potter, and I just don't see it all happening to finish this year within one episode.

Is it September yet?

Effin A! That was some solid shit! I think we all should have known Jax wasn't leaving anything.

And when Tara didn't get killed, we should have known something was up with the Cartel. That hit was botched from the beginning. They don't usually fuck those up like that.

Soooo many more questions will come up next year. And that final frame of his dad, some eery shit!

That CIA thing threw us all a curveball we weren't expecting... changed everything!

The ending scene was pretty epic... especially with house of the rising sun playing. I can't believe Ope didn't show but I think him walking in might be the opening scene for next season.

Yea I think Ope comes back. I hope. and even if he doesn't I have a feeling Jax will let him go. For all the shit he was put through and what he's done for the club, and they are best friends.

House of the Rising Sun has been used in so many epic endings. Casino uses it for it's ending and it's great

Total bullshit. I hated that entire episode, and I'm usually really easy to please when it comes to curveballs like that, but everything about this episode IMO screamed lazy.

The only two things I liked about the entire finale were the final six/eight minutes with the entire lead up to Gemma v. Tara and the scene with Jax's knife to Clay's throat leading to that shot with the blood dripping down his throat. That was amazing.

?Jax has been battling for four seasons about [staying with the club or leaving], and at the end of last year, he absolutely made the decision that he was going to stay,? the actor tells TVLine. ?So, energetically, it?s a very different Jax.

?He?s not jumping up and down with excitement and full of gung ho, but he?s resigned to be here,? Hunnam continues. ?And if he is going to be here, he?s going to make it work. This is a much more calm, mature, practical and driven Jax, which is going to be really exciting and fun to play.?

Basically, he adds with a laugh, ?I don?t think Jax is going to be crying as much.?

Hunnam does, however, caution against confusing his Sons character?s resignation with contentment, noting that his choice ultimately is ?going to suck. I?m sure in the back of Jax?s mind there?s still going to be some exit strategy, but that?s not for a long way off at this point.?

http://www.buzzfocus.com/2012/07/31/interview-sons-of-anarchy-kim-coates/

Recently, we spoke with Coates regarding the upcoming season as well some of the standout Tig moments from season?s past.

?He just keeps fucking up, doesn?t he?? Coates stated. ?He shoots first.?

Season 4 ended with the death of Laroy?s girlfriend, Damon Pope?s daughter. We?ll see the fallout from Tig?s actions (there are some significant consequences) in the Sons of Anarchy Season 5 premiere.

Given Tig?s past choices, one could presume that Tig will be holding back this year, especially now that he?s no longer the Sgt at Arms and Jax (Charlie Hunnam) sits at the head of the table.

Coates says different. ?Tig is completely off the leash this year.?

This could mean an even darker Tig than the one we?ve come to know over the past four years.

Finally getting Kristin hooked on SOA. We've watched all of Season 1 this past week and got two episodes into Season 2 last night.

She flipped her shit when Donna died. I so badly wanted to be like "just wait for Stahl" but bit my tongue. :D

"This is the season about Jax at the head of that table and what kind of leader he will become," creator Kurt Sutter explained at the Sons of Anarchy panel at Comic-Con in July.

Sutter has mentioned that he is considering ending the hit drama after seven season. The show has already been renewed for a sixth season.

“My sense of where the show will end up includes Jax and perhaps Gemma [Katey Sagal] and Clay,” he said during TCA. “I don’t think the show continues without Jax because I believe in his journey. This season I have to write to that endgame; the stakes get higher, the circumstances get more dire, the wreckage gets deeper -- and as a result, things will change. I don’t know how it all will fall apart, but eventually it will. The show is the prince’s journey. There is no show without Jax.”
