  1. If they demanded that I think they should've looked to trade him BEORE sending him down and making him mad and have him look for a trade himself. Just by the fact that his value obviously was higher before all of this mess. Im pretty sure Kravtsov never gonna put on a Rangers jersey again, so teaching him a lesson will only help Kravtsov himself in the future and his new organisation. If they do manage to find a team willing to pay a lot for him I guess it works out for the Rangers, but Im doubtful of that atm.
  2. Yeah, we'll see in a few years. At the moment Lundkvist is being scratched for Tinardi (Yes I know, just one game...), Miller is trending the wrong way, our 2nd and 1st OA picks has not lived up to the hype and potential. Chytil is still a question mark. Honestly the drafting hasn't been the problem, its the development thats fucked up. Just look at fucking Lias Andersson. LA Kings fans are really happy with him and think he can be a really good mid/bottom 6 player. Not what you want from a #7OA pick, but when he was here he didnt even look good enough to be a 7th rounder.
  3. It could, but it would be really strange if they had the convo and things still ended like this. Don't you think? No news about Rangers shopping him, no news or biggie when he got sent down. There was no sign of Rangers looking to trade him or him wanting to leave before BOOM. They ofcourse could've had that conversation and managed to hold it secret really well. But not even his agent slipping up or anything. Doesnt sound likely to me, but you never know.
  4. Nope, but trading him before he started crying would most likely give them a fair value trade offer. Now they're lucky to get a 2nd rounder.
  5. Its not in their own best interest to devalue an asset. No matter how selfish or grumpy said asset is. Have the guy sitting at home doing nothing won't make teams up their offers im afraid. The situation is basically fucked from the get go. Either they accept a low ball offer or they let him go home to Russia and cry untill Rangers don't own his rights anymore.
  6. How is he holding them hostage? In my scenario they would be trading him lol. Just doing it before they plummet his value.
  7. Yeah Krav +2nd or someone like the one you mentioned is possible. Im just annoyed right now, I really thought Kravtsov would have a really good season. The worst part will be watching him turn into a star player in fucking LA.
  8. Its just annoying. Like, didnt they even talk to the guy? If they communicated and he made it clear he wouldn't go to the AHL they MAY have been able to work out a trade without the world knowing that he didnt make the team and that he is unhappy here. Its just bad asset management, again.
  9. He's also over a year younger and never played in the NHL before, not really the same. Krav was on the team at the end of last season and basically lost his spot. And its not the first time he's being sent down. Two strikes on making the roster, not sure why Kings would give up a really talented center for this question mark.
  10. That COULD have been an idea. But now that they first send him down (a clear sign to LAK FO that he's not really that good) and his "fuck you" to the org. He's not worth close to what Turcotte is atm.
  11. It would atleast for this season. Worst case they could've traded him at the deadline for a nice return.
  12. Well wtf So there goes his value aswell. Gonna end up trading him for a 4th round pick because it was too big of a risk to waive fucking Hajek. He's a crybaby, but the org should've known that. Even if they didnt like him or found a spot for him on the roster you dont kill his value like this. There always gotta be something with this team. Season starts tomorrow, thing was looking good and everyone was feeling good about the team. Now first the Captaincy debacle and now this. Great....
  13. I guess this is a good deal? They're gambling on his production last year (especially in the playoffs) will continue, I guess thats a fair gamble to take. But yeah, if Suzuki is worth 8m right now, Mika at 8.5m is a bargain. Probably not the case in 4-5 years, but who cares about that.
  14. haha yeah I know, I was just joking. If Tinordi scores first there should be enough rep for both of us ?
  15. Why do you think they will be good enough when the best players on the team starts to get worse? That doesnt make sense.
  16. I'll take that 14-15' team over the pieces on the right. That team was something else.
  17. When you make the playoff you compete for the cup. I really think they should make the playoffs (and would be dissapointed if not), hence I think they should be "competing for the cup" ?
  18. I think the expectations from the front office, the team and most of the fans is to win every game at this point. Now im not saying they should win, or even come close, to winning the stanley cup this season, but at some point the mentality has to change and this off season has been a clear sign that the time has come. Look at Penguins roster for the home opener, that team sucks. Devils are not very good, neither are Blue Jackets or Flyers. I will be dissapointed if they dont make the playoffs this season so I consider the window open from now yes.
