Had the lead from early on and got a comfortable 4-0 lead in the 2nd, I think that effects the mood in here lol. They got kinda outworked and outskated again, but they were more in it than the last 3 games. Igor had to save their asses again early before PP-Kreids and Fox did the heavy lifting again. Panarin looked better, so did his line, so that's a positive I guess. Miller and Trouba also played like NHL players, so that was nice to see. Trouba with a nice interception and assist on the 4th goal, Miller's goal was... wow.

One guy refused to have anything to do with 2 orgs, the other signed his ELC in good will, got screwed over numerous times that made him not trust the FO anymore and went home to play in a more familiar (and for him better) league in the KHL. He's still Rangers property they can trade if they want to. His value has decreased, but not as much as Fox' who literally said he would not sign for the teams he was "owned by". What's the difference here? Because VK signed a contract as a 19 year old over 2 years ago? So because of that he's a slave to Drury and The Rangers? He felt that he was not treated right, just like probably hundreds of other players before him, but because he's a Russian who refused to play in the AHL and went back to Russia instead he's a "whiny bitch".

Hunt has played more top 9 than 4th line minutes and Gauthier has only been played in the top 9 when he's been in. They are all right wings. How did they not compete for the same spot lol. I don't care what "the plan" was. This is the situation we're in now and its the front office fault. They traded away Buch to give Kravtsov (and Kakko) top 6 roles, then they got rid of Krav and now they're fucked because the only "legit" top 6 RW they have right now is a guy with 0 points after 9 games playing with a top 5 player in the league. And that's how we end up with Goodrow in the top 6 and Hunt in the top 9. Because he played approx 10 minutes per game for 20 games playing with DiGiuseppe, Howden and McKegg. 0 PP time and 0 minutes of overtime.

Honestly I don't understand how they've been so good with that forward group. A rookie with 10 NHL points centering Duclair on their first line and a rookie centering Owen Tippett on the 2nd line. I know they're missing Barkov and the bottom 6 is solid, but still. Would be classic Rangers to win this game and think that everythings good again. I go for a 4-1 win.

If they changed teams Raymond would be in the AHL for conditioning (only played in Europe you know) and Seider would be a healthy scratch behind Tinordi.

The "If he just went to the AHL he would be playing 1st line minutes now" argument is so funny. What proof do you have for that? Do the past treatment of prospects make you think a guy that didn't make the team would be playing NHL 1st line a month later? They took Gauthier and Hunt over him, its that simple. I don't see why that would change after 1 month, but if that's the case it just shows how wrong they were in the first place. Its not like he was injured for 6 months and needed time to get back. He even played the last pre season game, scored a goal and looked good. Why didn't Kakko have to go down for some "conditioning" after his injury? It was as long as Kravtsov's and he has 0 points in 8 games now. Where's the Kravtsov treatment here? I guess they wanted to turn Kravtsov into another Jesper Fast Lite like they did with Kakko. Luckily for him he escaped this black hole for forward prospects before that happened.

Do you see where McDavid is coming from? The entire opposite side of the ice for the RD. LW, C and LD should all be closer to McD than Trouba there, and they are. 3 other Rangers players are closer to McDavid but you expect Trouba to take him out? Sounds like someone hating Trouba trying to put the blame on him when 4 people fucked up.

I don't know how you blame Trouba the most here. First its weak by Rooney and Hunt allowing him to get to the middle of the ice and after that you see McDavid goes to his right (towards Nemeth) and humiliates him. If anyone needs to take the body there its Nemeth. Trouba was never the closest guy to him.

I dont care how much he's paid, that was McDavid doing McDavid things. Besides that goal we didn't really see much of McDavid, they did a decent job stopping him. And there's 3 other Rangers players standing around on that play aswell.
