Mainly I was trying to be funny. Sorry if it didn't work. But is has been suggested (by others, not me) here that one reason for him not being sent down is because he's from Canada. Couple that with how lazy and out of shape he looks when playing and how bad he has started the season, it's strange that this canadian don't need the same conditioning in the AHL as the russian apparently needed.

Gotta think the uncertainty around Covid played a part here. Maybe he refuses to play in Canada and had the trade protection as his #1 need. The AAV + the trade protection is a bad deal tho.

If his name was Alexi Lafrensov he would be in the A a long time ago But seriously, give him the Caufield treatment. Send him down for 5-6 games atleast.

If he'd headshot Subban and get a 5 minute major that made them lose the game you would be pissed aswell. I understand that you may want him to do more, but he's being smart about it aswell. We play Wilson and Subban many times, why go for it right away? Let it be in the back of their heads for a while before going for the kill. Just like a predator. And how is he being a clown? The team seems to love him, the coach love him, the media loves him, most of the fanbase loves him. Just bacause you don't like his attitude he's a clown?

I wanted Rangers to draft Lundell so bad, but then they won the lottery and I forgot that thought right away. Right now Lafreniere is a doubt to be a top 10 player of his draft class, and that's sad and so typical Rangers at the same time.

I'm kinda tired of hearing this. Yeah obviously they need to shoot more, but they need help to figure out how they do it. Are they supposed to start firing shots from the red line? Because that's often where they get stopped. "Crash the net", "put more pucks to the net" - well, when our entire 2nd line hates to shoot, Kreider don't know how to (to be fair he has a couple nice snipes this season) and Lafreniere never gets the puck to shoot (unless someone dekes the entire team and gives him an open net) that leaves us with Zibanejad and bottom 6 scrubs to shoot. Gauthier crashes the net all the fucking time, but he can't do much else. Hunt doesn't do anything else then firing off shots, but he misses all the time. tl;dr - We don't have any shooters on the team.

Ah, he was supposed to see the future. He sure should've known that Rangers would luck into back-to-back lottery picks right after he signed his ELC. And he also should've known that those two could play like dogshit and still get gifted top 6 minutes, while he barely could get 4th line minutes no matter how he played. When he got sent down and Kakko/Laf was gifted top 6 minutes and Gauthier and Hunt would take the remaining winger spots he realised there was no spots for him and he did the same as Fox. And the contract argument is kinda funny because you've been shitting on him for leaving for Russia last time aswell when he had a Russia outclause IN HIS CONTRACT.

LOL yourself. I've said that Kravtsov mishandled the situation and fucked up for himself, but I'm able to look at things from more than one perspective. How am I painting Fox as being entitled? I just stated the facts. He wanted out of two orgs before pulling on their shirts, if you take that as being entitled - that's on you. I like Fox, but I can see what he did wrong. I Like Krav, but I can see what he did wrong. You like Fox and see no wrong in him. you don't like Krav and you see all wrong in him. The double standards in you man. Its funny.

He didn't make the Flames or the Canes teams before he decided he was too good for them and wanted out of there. And Kravtsov actually did those things. He was put on the 4th line for 20 games last season and played well. This season was his time to "work his way up" starting in a middle 6 winger spot, but we needed Hunt's grit on the 4th line and Blais and Goodrow in the top 9, so there was no spot for him.

Me too. My bet was Laf, but not anymore. Just give it to some of the older guys that won't be here for too long (Kreids, Trouba, Goodrow) and then re-evaluate in 2-5 years.

Had the lead from early on and got a comfortable 4-0 lead in the 2nd, I think that effects the mood in here lol. They got kinda outworked and outskated again, but they were more in it than the last 3 games. Igor had to save their asses again early before PP-Kreids and Fox did the heavy lifting again. Panarin looked better, so did his line, so that's a positive I guess. Miller and Trouba also played like NHL players, so that was nice to see. Trouba with a nice interception and assist on the 4th goal, Miller's goal was... wow.
