It blows my mind how this guy is still playing for Arsenal. He's been doing this for years now. I've lost count of how many "top 6" games he's ruined by getting a red card or giving away a penalty. Not really, when he forgot that another defenseman was taken after their pick and before Makar was taken. Did he think Makar was taken before Heiskanen or did he just completely forget Heiskanen? And you always go consesus BPA at #2, not for positional needs. And even if that's not the case, I would think most of the scouts had Heiskanen>Makar. Anyway, don't really care. Love to see that Flyers fucked it up. Imagine if Devils and Flyers switched Nico/Nolan with Heiskanen/Makar

He just said the PK is 4th in the league. So a top top PP and PK + arguably the leagues best goalie and defender in the league is often enough to make a team atleast "good". It's like you're just waiting and hoping for the team to start losing so you can say "told ya".

One thing to remember is that Kakko and Lafreniere has gotten basically 0 PP time. All the other top 10 picks play PP1. ES points this season: Zibanejad 7g, 19p in 37 games Strome 6g, 18p in 33 games Kreider 9g, 15p in 37 games Kakko 4g, 11p in 32 games Lafreniere 8g, 11p in 37 games Would be interesting to see ES P/60 for all of them. No matter how good you are, putting up good numbers in your first season(s) without being put in the best situation possible is REALLY hard. I'm done with expecting anything from anyone that has not proven himself in the NHL yet, but a little bit of Ozzy's patience would serve us all well I think.

Well, you mentioned 4 out of the 5 that makes the PP "save the day". What's up is that the rest of the team is not really good. Kakko sucks, Hunt sucks, the entire 3rd line sucks and the 4th line sucks if its not Blais/Reaves-Rooney-Goodrow. The forward depth sucks. Miller (kinda) sucks, the 3rd pair sucks, our backup goalie sucks. There's a lot of sucking here unfortunately.

I'm just curios, but what's the rules about isolation after Covid positive test where he lives? Because I recently had Covid, first got symptoms on monday night, got a positive test on wednesday and then was told I was out of isolation on sunday (6 days after I first noticed any symptoms). So travelling 8 days after a positive test doesn't necessarily mean he broke any rules. Wasn't Panarin out of Covid protocol after 7-8 days as well?

Wasn't Lias sent down the 2nd season? I just hope they know what they're doing re the situation around our young D's. There's a lot of talent and potential here, it's important they don't fuck up and trades away the wrong player(s). Looking forward to see Schneider. Interesting to see what the pairs will look like. I'm not really interesting in watching Nemeth/Tinordi - Schneider
