  1. He's been as expected, with a slightly better p/pg than I was hoping for. Leadership, "grit", intensity, PK, faceoffs and can play up and down the lineup. Exactly what we needed before the season and he brings it. Ideally he should be playing bottom 6, but again - I don't care who's playing with Panarin - Strome as long as its working. I would also think having a guy like Goodrow on that line in the playoffs will be huge. He's still 28 y/old. He's signed to 34. I don't see any reason why he can't keep going like this untill 34, but trading the last couple years of his contract will not be an issue at all if needed.
  2. Well, I'm not surprised. The guy got kicked out of his first ever international call-up because he broke the security rules for the players hotel - https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/12654521/icelandic-beauty-mason-greenwood-jelly-babies/. This was at the same time as he was together with the girl he's allegedly beaten and raped now. That situation should've served as a wake-up call for the boy, but it clearly didn't. This is just way too far and he should get some real consequences for this. Really sad because the guy is an amazing talent. I hate Man United with all my heart, but Greenwood is/was special.
  3. lmao love this quote from Igor "You score as many as you can and we'll score as many as we want". Kinda how this team rolls tbh. Igor working his ass off every game while the skaters just shows up when they have to.
  4. What a crazy post season this is. Overtime again! And Mahomes gets the ball again!
  5. Heavily outshot, but up 1-0 after a PP goal. Good to see the Rangers are back to what has been working the entire season
  6. What a man. Look at that beautiful little fucker now please dont lose another game after leading 2-0.
  7. @Statboy_Steven - Not my favorite follow. Not really funny and he's a euro simp, but he's really good with the random stats. Example: @ska1946 - The KHL team with the memes @josh @Hockey_Robinson - He's a Nucks fan, but he's cool. @RLuker12 and @NYRStatsInfo are two other nice accounts to follow for random rangers stats and info.
  8. If Miller just manages to become a solid top 4D and the #1OA and #2OA manages to become solid top 6 forwards there's really nothing stopping this team from winning a cup. That's really all they need to do, and it's not looking likely. Brutal...
  9. I think an acid trip would be a better mental reset than a trip to Hartford
  10. This is true, but it was still the right decision at the time and looking back in hindsight, I still like what they did. We didn't really rebuild through the draft, but it was still a "rebuild". Sold out aging players for draft capital, talent and especially cap space. Without the letter and the following trades we wouldn't have cap space to sign Panarin, nor Trouba. Fox (Yes I know we got "lucky" with him, but still), Lindgren, Miller and Schneider are all products of the rebuild. That's so far 4/6 of the defense. Shesterkin, although drafted pre-letter, was acquired through drafting and the "letter" gave him an easier way to the starting spot. It would be nice if some of the forwards prospects would contribute, but they're still very young. Kakko, Laf, Barron, Cuylle, Otthman, (Chytil, Gauthier) are all under 23 and have the potential to a be a contributing factor on this team. We (most likely) won't get the superstar we wanted from drafting, but does that really matter when we've got the superstars anyway? Shesty (draft), Fox (trade), Panarin (FA) are all top 5 in their position. acquired in different ways, but who cares really? The hard part about creating a team is finding the superstars. Usually you find it with high draft picks, but we found some other way. Now we just need to fill out the roster and we're good to go!
  11. Imagine if we had Zegras and Raymond instead of Krappo and Laugh...
