Do you think his play (in whatever capacity he gets) will have an effect on the plans for Georgiev this season? What if he gets the call and turns out to be a bust. I'd want to see quite a few games before deciding on moving a proven commodity in Georgiev....

I can imagine the pitch meeting for this: Suit #1 - "Ok guys, how 'bout we bring in one of the hottest upcoming new bands, that the kids all go crazy over?" Suit #2 - "Yeah, who do you have in mind?" Suit #1 - "I'm thinking Green Day!!!" (Loud cheers from the rest of the board room, including such comments as "I think my kid loves them!" "They don't do rap, do they?" and "Why is he thinking about Green Bay?" Boss Suit - "Knurlman, I see big things in your future!"

I liked what I saw, with the exception of Panarin and possibly Kakko getting hurt. They got a lot of good looks............and did something with them.

Most happy about this: FAN shareholders that saw ratings and advertising dollars plummet after he left. Love him or hate him, he brought in listeners/advertisers and in turn $$$. Hence Chernoff wasn't involved in the decision, in fact I wouldn't be surprised if the new owners (the same ones that wouldn't pay him in the first place) approached him hat in hand asking if he'd consider coming back.....

Funny you mention this but I just finished reading 'Dispatches' by Michael Herr, and I too was inspired to read it after finishing the Burns documentary. Excellent book, incredible documentary.

They got owned opening (last) night. Not a very physical team at all, got pushed all over the place.
