Put the stranglehold on them tonight. I'm expecting a different Washington team tonight, but I expect Lav and this team to be ready to go. Keep your heads up.

Much better performance from Toronto after the game one dud. This is really their year to finally get by Boston. If they don't, hoo boy.
-
Vegas is basically Pittsburgh 2.0 to Bettman and the league.
-
After that, I'll be surprised if the Islanders even make this a series. Honestly not surprised they came back. They are fast and explosive and were dominating the entire game. They got a big lead, but there was still a ton of time left.
-
Thank God we don't have McDonough every game.

Berube was the guy for months and they go back to this guy. The Sabres' issue is defending, and I don't if he's really going to help with that.

The NHL is becoming a soft league to the point where they actually edit out fighting and that sort of thing from their highlight packages on YouTube. They absolutely don't want a Rempe skating around. Of course, he's not just a goon and can actually play, but the NHL doesn't want the other stuff.

They are thr superior team and it was just a clean performance. Get the stench from last year's playoffs out and smoke these guys. They won the first two against New Jersey last year. Obviously this year's team is a whole different vibe. Let's see a shirt series for once.

About five guys being dreadful at the same time. Brutal. Starting to get worried about Judge. Gleyber is a mental case and Rizzo is washed.

Kevin Hayes? ☺
Not nearly as bad as Georgiev.

So many fans and others dislike Vegas so much. It's pretty funny for a team that's still pretty new. I don't really care who wins.

I'm curious. Why so much hatred towards Georgiev?
Whiny bitch here with a piss poor attitude and awful body language.

Four goals scored 5 on 5.

Let’s be honest they got Tom Wilson’d tonight’. Rangers play a harder game. Your time is up old man. It’s come full circle.
Rangers can easily match and surpass his bullshit now.

Caps weren't particularly chippy for a team that is going to have to live on the edge if they want to beat the Rangers.
That's a Rempe effect.
That and they had to expend a lot of energy to just get in.

The three stars of the game was the entire fourth line. How often does that happen? Great stuff.

I'm in a generous mood. Sort of.

Capitals looked over matched. Crush these fucks in five. Fourth line absolutely brought it tonight. You love to see it for the playoffs.

I'll be surprised if this goes more than six games. Carolina has this. I'll give the Islanders a game and say Hurricanes in five.
-
Then it'll basically be McDonagh doing all of our games.

It's probably going to be at least five years or so before they get a new team. I'm glad they'll get one eventually, but I'd still be really pissed off. The Coyotes were finally starting to show some life with some good young players. They are an up and coming team, and they basically leave the city in the 11th hour. It'll be great for them to have a brand new facility in Phoenix, but then they basically have to start all over again as a franchise.

They name Coyotes needs to remain inactive. That IP is still held in a type of escrow, pending Muerello hitting his milestones over the next 5 years.
Actually, I found that out later after posting that. lol I didn't know, so that was interesting. So, maybe if/when Phoenix gets an arena deal a few years now, they could bring the Coyotes back as a 'new' expansion team and the Utah team would then have its own history. Kind of like the NFL when the Cleveland Browns were brought back several years after they moved and became the Ravens.

Majorly blue balled by the Rangers on this one. So close.

I've never been to Utah, but there are most likely Coyotes there. Just keep that in the meantime.
