Just like last series, I'm tired of playing these guys (although not as much as Washington), expecting this to go seven, six best case scenario.

Love the guy, and glad he's staying there for a few more years. This will probably be his last deal with Tampa, so it gives him some more longevity. In a sport where it can be a coaching carousel, having a coach leading the same team for what will be close to 15 years is rare. Obviously they have a near three-peat to show for it, but still, a tenure like that in the NHL is difficult.

Let's make their decision easier by knocking their asses out of the playoffs. 

If I'm a Hurricanes fan, I'm pretty disappointed with how their team has done since he's been there. They've been pretty loaded, and really haven't had a deep run. I like the moves they made this year, but should be interesting if they lose to us again.

Imagine if Boston loses in the first round again after leading 3-1. I'll be interested to see what they'd do. It's a complete waste of some really damn good teams.

For the last couple of years or so, I always felt like Robertson was one of the better players in the league that no one talks about it. Dallas almost always just seems to be an under the radar type of team that's just always really good, or at least solid year in and year out.

Louis Domingue robbed.

Fourth consecutive playoff series win against these guys.

Maybe the Rangers were taking the Capitals a bit too lightly because they were quite sloppy in a couple of the games. If they don't shore that up, Carolina will blow their doors off. I fully expect them to be sharper this series, and win it in six games.

Huge wins by Dallas, winning both in Vegas. That's not easy to do. I don't dislike Vegas at all, but going for the Stars win this one.

I wasn't mad they signed him to that deal, but I wasn't too thrilled with it, either. I was just kind of like, 'okay, fine' about it. It's really turned out to be an excellent deal, though. I think he has gotten better with age, but the big reason is that he's just playing with better players, playing with guys who shoot more. Having guys like Mika, Panarin and Fox out there is a little different than, like, Callahan and Dubinsky. lol

With the Caps kind of trending downwards as an organization, I hope this is the last time we play them in the postseason for quite some time. I'm sick of playing them. lol 

While last night was not a great game from them, Rangers teams of the past probably lose that one and the series goes on longer than it should. I don't care how average the Caps may be, they went in there and took care of business. They showed me something. They've been finding ways to win all year when not having their best. That is what good teams do, and we have a good team.

Drury is too tough for Charmin. They're wiping their asses with leaves and pinecones. 

I hope the series goes a bit more, but the Islanders aren't beating Carolina four straight. lol They always find a way to be annoying, so maybe they can stretch this out one more game at least.

Not me. lol They make great games, but sometimes don't make the best decisions and can be lazy with some things. For example, a 60FPS patch for Red Dead Redemption 2 would have been great. Instead of that, they'll probably release an 'optimized' PS5 version sold at full price. lol

This time of year there's no such thing as too much rest, but it's going to suck waiting a week or whatever for the next game. lol Still nice to have an easy series for once.

The only team that really scares me is Florida. Out of all the teams left, probably the worst match for the Rangers. The only really good team that gave them trouble.

A decent amount, although a couple games I watched nationally to listen to Kenny Albert.

Farewell to Sam and Joe until next season. It was a great, fun year with those two. We're lucky to have them. See you at the parade.

Second round exit very likely though, unfortunately.

Only likely if they played how they did tonight every game next series.

He does look done, plus he, along with others, basically blew their loads just to get in. He did have a very strong finish to his season.

Yeah, he'll get the record, which is incredible, but it'll cost them.

I expected push from Washington in an elimination game at home, but this was probably the Rangers' worst game of the series.
