Wennberg is solid defensive forward, but as you said, almost seems a little too defensive-minded, you know? I feel like he could probably do more on offense if he wanted to. The rare times I watched him play on Seattle, he could get a little creative.
When the puck is on his stick, it's like a magnet. His ability to keep the puck is insane, it just never amounts to any offense.

I'm leaning towards this as well. Trocheck doesn't look bothered at all and with the first round sweep we shouldn't have any problems with fatigue, at least not yet.
And it's not like shortening the bench in 3rd periods/OT's is something only done with Rempe. Carolina literally just rolled 3 lines the entire OT. Noesen played 06:48, Comtois 06:19 and Kotkaniemi 09:15. We had Rempe playing 4 minutes and no one else under 11:25 (Kakko).
Rotating Kreider/Zib/Trocheck/Wennberg/Cuylle on the 4th line with Goodrow and Vesey instead of Rempe late in 3rd periods and OT is no problem at all.
I don't even think Brodz would've seen the ice in the OT last night, so I don't see the point in adding him. Chytil or maybe even Wheeler I can understand, but we don't no Brodz here.
I Don't totally disagree with everything here, but Rempe didn't get a shift in the 3rd either... So practically an entire 2nd game played with 11 forwards. That may eventually take its toll.
Fatigue might not show up in game 6, but it could show up in game 16. Players make mistakes when they're tired.
I'm not sold on taking Rempe out, but there's definitely enough of an argument to make a case.

It looks to me like both Roslovic and Wennberg have really settled in with their new teams and have gotten comfortable. Prior to, they weren't necessarily terrible, but kind of 'meh'. They seem to be in a groove now.
Roslovic is dynamic, when he's skating.
Wennberg looks like he couldn't be less interested in trying to score. Every shift for that line you can be pretty sure that no pucks will be going in, their net or our net. The most low event hockey I've ever seen. Sometimes I think I can get up and go to the bathroom when that line is out and not miss anything.

Not "always". Last season, he was ordinary, and worse in the playoffs.
He's having a career year... Wouldn't expect him to duplicate it, just ride the wave.

I dunno. Maybe wait for a loss or something.
Regardless of who won last night, which was a coin flip, they basically played a game and a half where he played 4 minutes... And was wildly ineffective.

Brodzinski is bad. He will turn the puck over because he thinks he's an offensive player, but he's just bad.
But he's a better hockey player than Rempe. The 4th line with was Rempe was consistently caved and couldn't play in Carolina Zone at all, which is the only thing that makes them valuable. They are certainly not a shutdown defensive group.
They need to play on the fore check and if they can't, then there's no value there.
Rempe doesn't scare anyone on the Canes, because nobody's going to fight him, and he's not going to go Tom Wilson crazy in the playoffs.

Conn Smythe leader imo. Literally does everything. Eerie shades of Patrice Bergeron, yes that good this season and so far in the playoffs.
But much more of a prick to play against.

I’m not against the idea honestly but at the same time are we putting chytil in or brodzinski? Because honestly if it’s bro I rather keep Rempe in.
Brodzinski. And I wouldn't, if you're only going to play a guy 4 minutes he's worthless.
Brodz is JAG where Rempe sometimes can't be.

Now that we’ve won game 2 it only makes this harder but the guy played 4m in a double OT game and was pretty much ineffective. I think you make a swap for game 3 in Carolina bring him back if there’s a game 5 at home.
I agree with this. Going on the road is the time to swap him.

The Rangers have only trailed for less than 4 minutes of playoff hockey so far.

Maybe if Stone would’ve came back the last game of the season and beat the Ducks, they might’ve had better luck against the Canucks.
That would have had no impact on anything at all whatsoever.
Stop being butt hurt.

No...he's not...because he was really hurt. As he is every season. And his team did the prudent thing and weaponized LTIR, in a way that every team should but doesn't for some reason.
Again, this was a bubble team when they made all those moves. It could have backfired on them spectacularly.
If fans are upset, they should be upset that their own team doesn't have the balls that Vegas has.

You know when I take Rempe out of the lineup?
Fucking never!
I could give a fuck about the refs and their bullshit. They're gonna make bad calls anyway...we know this.
That kid keeps them looking around and very wary of being plastered to the boards like a hieroglyphic!
Not me baby! That kid's here to stay! He makes shit happen and we need that! We've ALWAYS NEEDED that!
Yea but nobody takes your opinion seriously.

Oilers in 4. Canucks are banged up, not playing super well, and have like their janitor playing in net.
If the Oilers couldn't sweep the Kings I don't see how they sweep Vancouver.
