Oh yeah I've no doubt that AFFC was just a filler text building up subplots for the conclusion. I'm pretty sure that Jon isn't dead, because it would be pointless just killing him off like that and I have a feeling that Dany, Jon and Tyrion are the three most important characters in the series.

For those who asked...He's doing better than he was last night, but he's not home yet. The vet still doesn't know what was causing his symptoms, but they are doing more tests. His vitals are stable, so that is good.

 

Slight chance we can bring him home tonight if he's stable.

I saw that one coming from a while away and good for him to finally do it. By the way, Dance with Dragons is a stronger read than Feast of Crows, but all 5 books are really good.

I'm glad ADWD is a stronger read, but I'm guessing that's because of the way GRRM wrote the books, since AFFC has no Dany, no Tyrion, no Stannis/Melisandre, etc.

They haven't even casted Edmure, as far as I know and those kids that visit Bran in Winterfell also haven't been casted I think. All of them are more important than some of the characters that already have an actor.

Yep. Jojen, Meera, Edmure, Brynden, Hoster - all not cast yet, and likely won't appear til season 3.

:+1: on Davos. They really nailed that down. Melisandre looks kinda plain Jane from that image they showed of her. I think the problem is that she doesn't look all that devious, which might make it difficult for people to understand she's not a nice person.

 

With Cersei, they nailed it. Lena Headey looks like a bitch in every shot.
