  1. Mother f'er. You have no idea how mad I was, overachiever lol.

I'm to blame though, I didn't do any of my homework the entire semester

I can already see you smarting about this one on the other side of the internet, but that is, without any doubt, the absolute freaking STUPIDEST reason to lose points in any class.

  2. I have a feeling you'll be a little choked up, especially if you're in the Vet's office with her and the cat when she's about to be put down. I've been with three of my cats at that time because I don't want them to be alone at the end, but it rips me up inside. :(

I BROKE DOWN when we put my dog to sleep. I was so awful I couldn't drive home.

  3. What a day today was. My son fell last night running from my living room into my kitchen, he was wearing socks and slipped on the linoleum floor, it was a simple little fall. He cried little bit, then calmed down, and my wife put him to bed thinking he was fine. I woke up this morning and got him up and dressed and fed, and when I put hi down to play, he wouldnt walk and was favoring his right leg. So I took him to the doctors, and we found out that he has a baby fracture in his tibia from the fall, he mus have twisted when he fell and caused a small fracture. We had to take the poor kid all over to different doctors and to get x-rays done, and now the poor kid is in a hard cast for the next month. Its just amazing that with all the big bumps and bruises he gets, he even fell out of his crib one day and didnt get hurt, that a such a small fall could do this. The doctors said this was common among little kids his age for this to happen, but I was just shocked that he fractured it in this way. We did pick Rangers blue though for his cast.

    :(

Glad he's alright man. He'll recover, but it sucks for a young kid to be immobile for a month.

As someone who horrendously broke his leg (shattered my tib/fib) there are a few things that will ease up his frustration at not being able to move:

    1) Don't teach him to fear stairs, if you have them. I will NEVER forgive my PT for that one. The way to handle them is to use your crutch to get down a stair or two, then sit down and "scoot" up or down. It's really fun and it'll make sure that your son doesn't feel confined. Granted, I'm kind of inferring that your son is still of age where you'd happily carry him around without much stress, but it's something for when mom and dad can't carry him.

    2) Don't let him get lazy because his leg is broken. He can still do a few pretty fun things for a kid - find them!

    3) This is a good time for him to learn something new and cool (or perhaps beneficial)! Depending on his age, you might be able to use the fact that he's not as easily mobile to teach him to multiply, or get him reading some good books. Personally, I did a LOT of reading when I broke my leg - in fact, I was either reading or playing Diablo II the entire time.

    4) Last but not least - again - this is a great time to forge new levels to your father-son relationship and I really hope you do so. It'll mean worlds to the both of you! I'm 99% sure that the moment I stopped being a rebellious teen was when my parents spent all that time with me when my leg was broken. Go for it.

  4. How do you tell your boss to hurry up and hire someone? LOL

Fact is, someone quit, so i've been left alone to do so many things and I only work part-time so not like I have enough time anyway. It's been 3 months like this, and I'm afraid because while I'm doing one thing, I'm not working on another, and it's hard to balance. I'm afraid if I get fired for something stupid like this

If you're doing well and craft the conversation properly, you can perhaps convince your boss to promote you to the position instead.

  5. You need to ease into it brosef. TBQH, You'd probably have been better off focusing on the eating habits for a good 2 weeks before integrating the exercise routine.

Was too excited to push off the exercise for that long. I think the third day overdid it, but I learned some limits too.

  6. So as many of you know I started working out heavily last week and being more vigilant of what I eat.

Anyway, Saturday was my third consecutive gym day. I had already exhausted all options except abs, but my legs felt good to go for a second round.

I totally destroyed my hip flexors. Can't freaking walk.

  7. Hey is 81 dollars a month for unlimited text 450 mins of calling and 4GB of data on VZW a good deal? I need to get my own plan so I was wondering if 81 a month, after my company discount sounds like a good deal.

You've got to be freaking NUTS to go through 4GB of data. I'm abusive and I barely go through 1GB/mo
