  1. They had 3 GREAT chances to win that game....That one backhander in front....UGH!!!! Open net.....

Ahh well, no worries boys....Zucc had a pretty good showing, and maybe they'll resign him....we can always hope!

Andrew Cogliano is going to have nightmares about that open net..

  2. I wouldn't hold your breath on that one. #19 and #28 are not anywhere near as valuable as #10 (or higher). I don't see any team doing that.

Actually, looking at those draft value charts, 19 and 28 are fair value, (offering a slight premium in some of the charts) than the #10 pick

  3. And probably Kreider if they commit to this route. It's really a nice looking core for the next 5 years, at which point hopefully some of those 1st round picks and prospects develop and can take on larger roles as those other guys fall into the supporting veteran role.

Kreider/Zib/Panarin is a legitimate 1st line, and a good one at that. Plenty of room for the kids to fight it out on the other lines, and doesn't block anyone from ice time.

    Totally agree, that's a 1st rate line.

  4. I agree. I see Panarin as being like Datsyuk in terms of lasting a long time. The only thing about Panarin is that he seems to take some nights off. He was breathtaking when Columbus got the jump on Washington last year, but then wasn't a big factor. I've definitely seen games when he was pretty ordinary. Now Panarin is at a totally different level, but can you imagine how excited you would be by Vesey or Buchnevich if you happened to just catch a couple of their "on" games.

Panarin is a PPG player after 300 games. Any comparison to Buch or Vesey is funny.

  5. Thanks man- I'm in Charlotte.. It looks like it's going to move south before we get the worst part- we are just outside the band looking at 10-15 inches. I hate to wish it on anyone, but hope it stays away from here.

My folks on the other hand, they live about half way up the coast between Myrtle Beach and Wilmington- needless to say they have headed inland.

  6. This is going to be a rain/flooding storm.. The winds will die down but the glacial pace of the storm will just bring so much water down.. I'm well inland and they are saying anywhere from 6 to 10 inches of rain. The coast is looking at 30+
  7. Thanks for info. Think I'm just going to wait until after labor day....

Wait a month.. right when they start making room for Christmas shit go in and make an offer on a floor set.. 50 cents on the dollar at worst... They'd rather take a fraction to get it off the floor and not have to store it... Best time to buy an already assembled grill as well.

  8. just cost me $300 to get rid of a hornet's nest the size of a football. tried spraying it myself, didn't do shit since its deep in the bushes. fuck!!

total kick in the dick, right?

In the spring it cost me $1600 to get rid of a colony of honey bee's that had gotten in a gap in the soffit and made a 5 foot long x 18 inch honeycomb that required a giant hole to be cut in that wood siding of the house. Little bastards

  9. I declare myself the WINNER of the thread with... the notorious Jim Dorey! They traded prospect Pierre Jarry to Toronto for him in early 1972 and he played one game before separating his shoulder. He then jumped to the WHA. But here is a picture from that game!

That's going to be tough to beat from a longevity perspective.
