Staple Rangers Have Spoken to Seattle About Yanni Gourde

Is one roster spot for a now fading once useful for Tampa role player enough? -
Three points out of first place with four games at hand. What happens to season ticket sales when they have a few losing seasons? I don't get it. When they lost the team in 1996, it was exchange rates; no fan support. When they didn't have a team, they used to have mass bus trips to St. Paul, 420 miles away, to see NHL games.

JBrod did not get an assist, but his typical quick aggressive play resulted in the second goal last night. How are these guys really going to be an upgrade on that? Especially when you consider that you have to give value for them and take a cap hit that will limit the kind of RW that you can obtain. -
Hope Bettman gets stuck on the Cross Island and misses the pre game ceremonies.

Really, just look at highlights from the 80s and, to some extent, the 90s, and there are tons of goals that would be deemed soft today. Wayne, Mario and Brett would never have the stats they had back then today. That makes Matthews season all the more amazing. BTW, I'm done with the best American-born stats. Back when there were few American players, it seemed relevant. Not now.

GDT [RS] (#56) Rangers vs. Dallas Stars — Don't Get Stankin' Wedgewooded

Trivia: Lee Harvey Oswald. (First Russian emigre to play for Dallas). -
The glove is the weird thing. Hank's was the weakest part of his game (along with puck handling), so when Igor came along, the strength of his glove really jumped out at you. Now? Not so much.

When I think of Jagr, however, I think of what could have been. (That is what could have been if he had gotten the haircut he's got now 30 years ago).

It's Miller Time.... To Talk About Moving Miller

I don't have stats and like to like comparisons at the ready. I just have my eyes and my gut, and they tell me that Miller is pretty much what he's going to be. -

Goalies are tempermental creatures. There's a good chance that one does not excel when his surroundings change dramatically in the middle of the season. -
Rangers Among Teams That Have Shown Interest in Scott Laughton

They might not think that they are that close, but so long as they don't think that they are going to get closer, they will make a significant trade. -

Could be very satisfiying, but also could result in a Lower Body Injury. -
And with that, "Lower Body Injury" official becomes code on the board! (For example: "this guy has suffered more Lower Body Injuries than any player since Dennis Potvin")

Hope you're right, but they are currently two points out, have the tie breaker, and 30 games to go.
