Flyers were playing above expectations for most of the season. I think it’s more of a leveling off than the team quitting and I’m one of the non Tortorella fans. I think he’s a douchebag.

Should be no reason not to win this game. Win this game and split with Islanders and beat the collapsing Flyers and they finish first in the Metro. Ottawa game might not matter at all except for first in the conference and or league.

Lightning could actually pass Toronto

Pens are currently beating Lightning that pushes them ahead of the Flyers for the final spot at the moment. I rather face the Islanders than the Pens. Either way it’s not the easy series that you look for when you’re the #1 seed.

My guess is the Islanders and Pens find a way to make it which means a not so great matchup for the Rangers either way. Really wish we would’ve beat the Pens the last game. For some reason we can’t figure a way to contain Crosby.

The way they’ve played this season anything we as fans complain about is just nitpicking. Winning is the only thing that matters and they are the best team in the NHL regular season this year. That being said we all know the playoffs are a whole different animal. What works in the regular season doesn’t always in the playoffs. The way people perform during the season isn’t the same in the playoffs. The big game performers usually show up or you go home.

It's one thing to be rusty, but the decision he made that led to the 3rd goal was an atrocious hockey play. Has nothing to do with rust.
