  1. Thx Blair it looks worth exploring. Dunny - those steaks aged? Wagu? Wondering what you bought? Anyone try their hand cooking one of those giant tomahawk steaks?
  2. Skybox a couple of games. See it from a different perspective. Take a rest. Reset your head. Zib gonna’ be fine in the end.
  3. My recollection of "RichieNextel" posts were arguing for days and days about the same stuff over and over...Avery mainly. That you? (If not I'll take the 2-min bench minor.) I met GardenGirl on that board and she turned out to be a NYR super-fan and a cool person.
  4. Reading this somehow reminded me of Chris' first appearance with the team during the playoffs...damn if he didn't make a strong impression on all of us. Tell the truth, who didn't say we just landed Superman?
  5. Have you every had to post bail? If so, how much? What's the total amount of beers you've consumed at the Garden during one game? How many times did you have to go pee?
  6. You might be correct in that other people's misfortune buys him time. While the bandwagon is certainly adding rows for riders jumping on the 'fire Quinn' ride, it would be kinda' tough for JD to fire him THIS season for the reasons Sharpshooter stated.
  7. WTF!!! I literally pissed myself reading back through the thread.
  8. RichieNextel was a troll's troll. That MSG board? Absolutely useless moderation. The Mods were sooooooo lame.
  9. When Kreider plays the way he has been of late, he loses the Casper cape and we start to sit up a bit in our chairs. The convo turns to, "See, he can lead a team by example; Going to the net is paying off." I found myself getting re-absorbed by this thinking when reading this thread and thinking about his outstanding play. But then I'm reminded of all the games he pisses me (us) off! Stretches of games where the GDTs contain, "Is Kreider playing tonight?" Yeah, on the hot streak he's golden and a great role model for young players. When he stops moving his legs though and plays games like its an Ice Capades skate we'll be cursing his contract yet again. The dude is a leopard. No vote of "C" from me. (C for confidence and C for Captain.)
  10. LGR! I have a work meeting tonight and will have to resort to DVR later. Enjoy and root our boys to victory.
  11. Excessive speed being the crime? The car was mangled pretty good.
  12. Another take on this is Rangers contract liability from a wrongful termination standpoint. I read Gorton's statement and oh-boy, if you were a litigious person, you might have cause to seek some relief. Asking to be loaned to the AHL is a smart play by his agent and I assume, his attorney since it pressures the Rangers into action. ADA doesn't want to sit on the shelf losing game-shape by the minute and softening the skills. This is a power-move IMO to get the Rangers to write a check...or seek immediate trade to a NHL team.
  13. FYI - I'm not sitting in the seat next to you at the game. I picture you swinging fists left and right watching the action and I don't need to get caught by a right hook.
  14. A win. Boys came to play especially in the first period. Buch becoming a consistent threat on the ice. Young man growing into a legit NHL player.
  15. My role these days: 1) wine-opener, 2) eater and 3) dishwasher. My wife and son are at the helm these days planning, shopping and cooking. I make sure to voice vociferous approval.
  16. May Day! is a classic call. You can hear his voice in your head as soon as you read the words. Kinda' like "Matteau...Matteau" huh? 5 biggest moments in NYR history according to https://bleacherreport.com/articles/1733973-ranking-the-5-most-unbelievable-moments-in-new-york-rangers-history
  17. Man Jack looks, um, unhappy doesn't even come close to describing the angst. NOT the way he saw his NHL career going.
  18. Peeled and deveined a shit-ton of shrimp for whatever is coming tonight. I'm not on deck at the grille just a fork-in-hand spectator.
  19. Glad you had a good time. We were heading there too - I think it was located just off B'way near Times Square - and we skipped it after reading a few health citation reviews. My wife would not go inside.
