Mentioning that name - even in a so-called "funny" - manner is more than insulting. Look around; the same kind of B.S. that permeates the US now, was what he brought to to the world.
Had game in hand. Started playing the usual, casual NYR way. Fancy passes vs. shooting the puck; especially on the PP. Plenty of question marks as to the mental toughness of this group as well.
Impressive bounce back victory. Will this team maintain some sort of consistency and focus to details or regress once again? Looks as if Tony D. will be this season's whipping boy for the NAYSAYERS on this forum. I say, as always:
Woeful start to a very demanding season. The daily grind will surely be the real test as to how this team plays going forward. As a Y*A*Y*S*A*Y*E*R I say:
New York Rangers
Mika Zibanejad will not practice when the Rangers begin their on-ice sessions Monday and is day to day, general manager Jeff Gorton said.
The center led the Rangers with 41 goals last season, an NHL-career-high, and scored 75 points in 57 games to help New York advance to the Stanley Cup Qualifiers. He was second on the team in points behind forward Artemi Panarin (95).
Gorton said forward Justin Richards and goalie Keith Kinkaid will also not be available Monday and are day to day. -- Dan Rosen

"The King"!! What terrible news. From my own experience, the feelings and consequences can be life threatening. It surely will alter his future. The best of luck to a player that will go down in history as one of the all-time greats who gave his all. There aren't enough adjectives to describe the type of person that he is. The best to you " King ". Always think positive!!!
Fast provided more than scoring, in case you hadn't noticed. BTW, there were numerous people here that called for his departure, in case you don't remember.
" Greatest " Goalie? Probably so, judging by his record. However, " Greatest Ranger " encompasses many players, many of whom were on the ice before we were born. Let's not forget, the NYR go back to 1927.
I haven't read a single post on this news. However, I'd wager that many are happy now. You all know; the peeps that wanted him gone many moons ago. Now all the naysayers can smile from ear to ear. Has everybody remembered to TG on a daily basis? Ta da, for now.
