Yeah. Move on to what, exactly? -
Hah! It was a breakout game after all. I see the usual quacks are still acting like know-it-alls. Calling out this team for months and now joyously jumping up and down with glee. All of a sudden, the bandwagon is bulging, as the trade-a-holics climb aboard. The negatronists are right behind. What a gutsy ending to a horrid beginning, altho' it surely was not pretty; stupid, lazy penalties once again. In spite of being outshot and out hustled for 1/2 of the game, Igor shines, Fast defines. Yeah, #17, another guy that many say is not worth keeping. One more rung on the play-off ladder, as the B.I.B. prove to the NAYSAYERS that they are on the verge... Keeping it rolling vs. the Isles will help solidify the push to post-season participation. Unbelievable stretch for this team as they keep on proving the many doubters wrong. To all of them I say; H.F! & T.G.

GO RANGERS!! -
Breakout game or breakdown game? This team is poised to make the NAYSAYERS unhappy. If they continue their heads up play, and don't take stupid penalties and the like, the post season may be on the horizon. Gonna chow down early and then head for my favorite spot in front of the spacious TV, that actually brings the game into the room with exceptional clarity and vivid colors. Unfortunately, the sound will be on as the head NYR fan rules the roost. We will be anticipating a victory and a move upward towards a play-off berth. Keep smiling and T.G.

rumor/report: Johnston: COL Calling on Henrik Lundqvist?
LONG LONG LONG TIME FAN replied to Phil's topic in New York Rangers
We need a Trade-A-Holic thread. Hey Phil! How about it? C'mon man. Show some moxie, ala Chris Kreider. -
One more satisifying road victory. Couple of lucky bounces benefit the B.I.B. for a change. Top guys continue to make a difference, supported by everyone else. This team seems to be able to overcome many obstacles. Great net minding, to say the least. Next one is a potential let down game vs. a team going nowhere. Keep the gas pedal down. Of course, my lovely lady & I were attentively ogling the GIANT Hi-Def TV and its vivid color as we boisterously cheered on the team; rooting for a victory as the few yaysayers on this site do. Always a Y*A*Y*S*A*Y*E*R, NEVER A negative Nellie. T.G. peeps. It'll do you a world of good. A message to all of the tradealoholic negatronists:

Yeah. Coleman is a scrub. Ha! Ha! Ha! 21 G... 10 A... for a guy that's not a frontliner... -
2 bad plays by 2 good players = 2 goals for Boston. 2 much stick, sweep and poke checking... not nearly enough body checking. Almost NINE minutes of PP time, one for 4 minutes = ONE goal. Far too much passing - not enough shooting. A game that the NYR could have easily won, maybe even a shutout had they taken advantage of the opportunities they had. I'm disappointed but at the same time happy to see them give a good effort against the top team in the NHL. Once again a back-up goalie stands tall. Another biggie ahead vs. the Hawks. Bye, bye and adios amigos. T.G.

WTH are you saying? Unbelievable statement from someone who says they are a NYR fan. Do you actually pay attention to the games? Lindgren is one tough cookie. Not a fighter necessarily, but plays a physical game that is sorely lacking from some of the big guys on this team. Not too mistake prone either, imo. Not one other guy, except Buchnevich stood up to Marchand. Ask yourself where was everyone else? That aspect of the NYR is disappointing to say the least.

Tuning up the massive Hi-Def TV in order to view what may well be a defining moment for the B.I.B. A victory over a Boston team that has put it all together, will be a great accomplishment for the boys. Moving onward and upward if the team plays hard and smart for 60 minutes. No stupid penalties or ill advised passes. Need a quality performance in goal by whomever is the chosen one. Team defense is paramount. Physical play is essential. More body checking. Less stick checking, especially along the boards. My sweet honey bunny is resting up for this game. We will as always, have eyes and ears glued to the screen, and will be making countless yells as the game plods on. Keep in mind that there is ample time for all the trade-em, cut-em, dump-em, demote-em fanatics to T.G.
