Sooo... Not winning the S.C. is surely not the " fault " of H.L. as you say. However, he is in the driver's seat at this point in his career. If the team had won, would it have been entirely because of H.L? The NY Giants won the Super Bowls because of the team and mucho luck in both victories. When the NYR last won the cup in '94, they clearly were given a stiff challenge by the #7 seed. It took 7 games and a dramatic victory that was a nail-biter. They have made the play-offs many times since, but have only advanced to play for the cup ONCE.

Soooo... Who should start in goal for the game vs. Dallas?
-
Give up 5... score 6.. what could be better than revisiting history? Nada, Negative noods... and now, the bandwagon is no longer accepting any hop-ons.. Tough to witness this amazing climb into play-off contention, isn't it all you NAYSAYERS?? Huh?/ Nothing to say? Top goalie hurt, top forward hurt and these guys just keep on truckin' in the face of adversity. Unbelievable turn of events for this group. My sweeteart and I were rockin' like the days of yore in the old MSG on 50th & 8th... Could be in the wild card equation with a proper alignment of the stars. Who woulda thunk? Ta Ta to all the doomers...Always remember to T.A.T.O.G. [/color[/u Rangers hide before mobbing Zibanejad after five-goal night New York forward figured something was up when he came back to empty room https://www.nhl.com/news/new-york-rangers-celebrate-with-mika-zibanejad-in-locker-room/c-315921166

Now that post is hilarious! You, Wizard, are the pessimist of the year. Not even a true naysayer. Can't make the cut.:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl: -
It'll always be Hank's fault to the hypocrites that abound here. One day it's YAY Hank! Next day it's Nay Hank. Funny how peeps forget. Guy hasn't played in almost a month, gets thrown into the fray against a hot team fighting for 1st place, faces a PP in the first 30 seconds, another 2 because of stupid penalties. And then another bonehead play on a NYR PP, results in a breakaway goal. Yup. All Hank's fault. Take that crap away and the NYR win the game.

The OFFICIAL Lindy Ruff MUST GO Thread
LONG LONG LONG TIME FAN replied to Ozzy's topic in New York Rangers
Yeah. Lindy Ruff is the villian. I see him every game stand around and watch as players cascade into the crease. He never takes the man out. He's always missing assignments. He's slow and lazy on the backcheck. Takes lazy, stupid penalties. And, never, ever shoots the puck. Ever!! Can't win a face-off either. Yup. It's all Ruff's fault.:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl: -
To say disappointing is an understatement. Not bashing any particular player. However, I don't think this young group was mentally prepared for the loss of Shesterken and Kreider. The uncertainty leading up to the trade deadline, imo, took its toll. Now they are in a real fight for play-off position, and have squandered the games in hand. That alone, is critical. Just for a moment, imagine if the PK performed as it should have. Rangers win, 3-2. Throw in the shortie given up; 3-1. St. Louis is a huge test. I'm as always, thinking positive thoughts. T.G. all you doom and gloomers.

I never post during a game. I'm actually watching, but it is intermission. This has to be the worst period this team has played in eons; and with so much at stake. Horrible display. Will Trouba live up to his rep by actually playing a consistently physical game? WTH is #42 doing in the line up? #18 as well. And then to stick it up the hershey highway they laud the two flyers that everyone wanted gone. Absurd, ridiculous, inane, stupid, disrespectful towards the team fighting for their lives. Had to vent after screaming at the GIGANTIC TV. Gonna keep cheering the team on, as usual.

In a word: B$U$M$M$E$R!! As true Rangers fans, my sweetie and I enjoyed rooting for the B.I.B. despite the mediocre performance. Get in @ 3:30 AM after a hard fought victory and 3 in 4. Expert scheduling and typical of how the NHL operates. More than the loss of this game was the devastating loss of #20. Sunday @ MSG, could be the most important game of the season. Are they mentally tough enough to overcome the loss of CK AND IS at the same time? C'mon know-it-alls. Chime in. Until we meet again;T.P.O.G.
