Great win, but The injury to Shesty isn’t good. They seem to be finally clicking, and Shesterkin seemed to be getting comfortable. I hope this is nothing serious.

Aren't a lot of the Euro leagues ion their playoffs right now? I agree, it doesn't make sense for any team to let him play on their AHL team, especially if they can't use him.

Plus it changes the way the team has to play in front of their goaltender as well.

This is how I feel too. It’s pretty clear as the day goes on that this is made up, but I think the fear for his family over there is what has him taking a leave of absence. Whatever he does, I hope it happens quickly for him for his families sake.

It’s not just him though, this could have implications for any prospect coming out of Russia to the NHL. If Kravtsiv wants to stay, I’m sure there are a bunch of guys who want out, and they may not be able to.

Hoping that this goes smoothly for him. If something were to happen to his family, I worry what that might do to him. Russia and Putin are the one country/dictator you don’t want to mess with, they don’t play around.

This, what if it was a large bar fight and he was getting hit? What if this is semi-true, but it was a guy instead of a girl he hit and they are trying to make him look bad. Also, if this is true, why is it only coming out now and not earlier in his career when he was starting to blow up? This as well, and I think this is the main reason. I hope the Rangers and anyone else can help him get them out of there.

Just because a player is on the COVID Protocol List doesn’t mean they have it. Mallory was on it for what 2 days and he didn’t have it. You can be put on it if you have a false positive or if you were in contact with someone who had it. He could have been at a doctor appointment and someone in the office had tested positive so he notified the team and they went from there.

I thought they announced that this game was going forward? I know they rescheduled 3 Ranger devil games, I thought this one was one of the rescheduled games.

I don’t get that horrible change at the end of the third when just the two defensemen were out and I forwards. That just can’t happen at this level.

Terrible decision by Buch. 3 on 3 is not the time to make cute passes through 2 guys, and why was Marchand left all alone. Mika needs to cover him. Fuck this is getting frustrating.

You can’t help not rooting for this kid. Yes, it’s only been two games, but the kid is playing well. If he keeps it up and we can roll 3 good defensive pairings, we will be good defensively.

On the score sheet he is. He seems to be going back to how he used to play, kind of just skating around and not getting as involved as he was to start the season.

Its going o be hard for him when Buch has been just as invisible. Outside of the empty net goal the other night, he hasn't scored since game 2. Its going to be hard when you have two guys struggling on the same line.

If they can squeeze him in under the cap, I would be all for it.

I’m more surprised they didn’t just suspend him for the season and let him sit out and not get paid. Force him and his agent to ask to be put on unconditional waivers.

He was physical too, something this team was missing. Honestly, I liked his play and hope he gets more playing time.

It’s more of a goaltending issue IMO. They give up at least 1 goal in the final minute of a period every game, and way too many soft goals getting in.
