Brodzinski with the defensive play to spring Kakko and Cuylle the other way on the goal. Brodz deserves recognition, and that line has been looking sharp since the ASB.

Period started rough and improved, scored and all but feel like playing too slow defensively. Shesty made some big ones but let’s go out and take it to them in the third.

@BrooksBurner beginning to agree with you on the priority of right-wing over center. I wait till 2:55 p.m. on trade deadline day to pull the trigger on anything. They really have to see what they have in that third line

This shouldn't be. 

 

This has to stop. The top players have been making this a daily thing. Can't have these guys constantly going into the 3rd with no shots on goal.

When you play a goalie like Markstrom, that’s what you get….his positioning is so good that it forces you to try to hit small targets on the edges…anything inside them and it’s an easy save, so you get a ton of shots that just miss…
