QUOTE(S) TO NOTE:

“I watch a lot of their games, you see their games on TV.  Nothing to learn about them, they’re a good team. They were a young team that got better every year. They got some real good star players on that team, they play a fast game. It’s not a surprise to me. I knew they were gonna take a step this year, but they’re playing really well.”

— Gerard Gallant on the Devils

you know this is going to end bad.  i predict a serious shellacking by the Devs

Meh, if they get blown out by the Devils, so be it. It's same as any other regular season game in December. But difference is lately the team actually looks like they want to compete, rather than just going through the motions like much of November and that's a positive takeaway going forward.

Big one. Trouba is leading how most would quantify/qualify a leader should. Although he isn't lighting the lamp; he is doing the other things he can control to fire this team up. Send these jokers back to the ironbound!!

Shesty with the open netter tonight!!

You’re going to have to specify. 1st good shift?

Good point!  LOL

Nah, I gotta give Blais a pass, dude.  That surgery must've been absolute torture to rehab from.  I've had some injuries, but not like his.  He ripped that knee completely to shreds!  Anyone that's been through that kind of surgery would need at least a year to just get the strength back into it, no less 100% use with no limitations.

He's going to progress, but I'm not pushing it for him.  That surgery HURTS!

...a lot!

The rehab is worse!

Rangers better come out hitting, skating and going to the net for a full 60 minutes. I get tired of crosstown rivals coming into the Garden and taking the crowd right out of it because they choose not to show up. This is a big game, and they need to show up.

I can guarantee you there will be slow, passive, perimeter, and generally lackadaisical for at least 45 minutes.
