Hart has been great, but I don't know how sustainable this start is for Philadelphia over the course of the season. Albeit against lesser forward opposition, but I definitely noticed better anticipation in the defensive zone, being more proactive towards the puck, and even joining the rush. No team coached by Torts has ever made the playoffs in his first full season coaching that team. It typically takes him a year or so to get a team to that point, depending on what he has to work with. I don’t believe they sustain it. Especially with the injuries they have and the general lack of offensive production in a very good division. But they will play hard. They will defend well. They’ll be difficult to play against.
